Cedarstar
A breeze passed through Cedarstar's fur, and he opened his mouth to breath in the scent of the morning dew. Around him were the sounds of a clan waking up, breathing life back into the open clearing. The scent of ash still lay thick in the air, but his lungs had long since grown accustom to the effects of the fire. With a quick stretch of his legs, he turned, facing the dens that held his clanmates, and waited for them to emerge. The fire had devastated the clans, but Cinderclan was growing, and Cedarstar had to protect them. The sun began to rise over the scattered trees covering the clearing, and sent flecks of gold scattering on the gray tom's fur. He smiled and listened for the sounds of his clan.

Featherkit
Inside the nursery, a tiny bundle of fur lay curled up, the only sign of life the gentle rise and fall of her side. As sunlight made its way into the den, the tiny she-cat opened her pale eyes. With a quick bounce to her step, she threw off her sleep and picked her way out of her nest. Heat still radiated off of the soft bedding from where she had lied only moments ago, and it called to her in the brisk morning.With a flick of her tail, Featherkit exited the den and watched as the sun peeked its way above the horizon.

Snowshine
She scented the air looking around the forest. Snowshine quietly unsheathed her claws prowling towards a resting rabbit. Her senses kicked as she leaped at the rabbit catching it in her claws and giving it a deadly blow to the neck. Snowshine licked the blood from her lips and dug a hole for her prey.

MothFlight slowly flickered open her soft eyes wandered over everything In her den she yawned and slowly stood up stretching the faint scent of smoke touched her nose she sneezed She still hadnt gotten used to the ashy smell in the air,
As she stood up And walked into the fresh air of the morning she smiled as she saw Her beloved leader standing on the Great rock She watched as the sun shone on his fur she let out a soft purr not loud enough for any body to hear,

Crowshadow laid curled tightly in his nest. His tail laid infront of his nose, disguising the smokey smell around him. His eyes slowly opened as the sun creeped into the Warrior's den and the rustling of others as the disturbed his rest. It was time for a new day. With a sigh he rose slowly to a sitting position. He laid his ears back as a small sneeze came from his chest followed by a few wheezing sounds. This was a daily routine for him. Wake up, sneeze, and struggle for breath. He had started to get use to it, even though it was annoying. With his raspy breathing under control Crowshadow stood to his paws. He arched his back and let out a big yawn before stretching his limbs one by one. A quick lick to his long black furred chest and trotted out of camp to prepare for the first patrols. As he left the den he found Mothflight not to far away. "Morning Mothflight." He mowed a greeting to his clanmate before looking around the camp to see if anyone else was out there yet.

She padded into camp the rabbit in her jaws. She had slightly gotten used to the smell of smoke but not completely. Snowshine sighed her white pelt shining in the warm sun. She placed the ground rabbit down in the prey pile and Yawned. Snowshine flicked her tail as a greeting to Crowshadow as she sat down in the clearing waiting for a patrol.

The tired little kit had his paws over his eyes. Ugh, another sleepless night, it seemed? The voices and shadows were really active this season, it seemed... Letting out a light whimper, showing that he dreaded the thick hallucinations that would be destined to come later, Frostkit curled up, moist eyes shutting tight, and ears folded back like usual. A knocking noise coming from the walls of his den? Weird, they didn't get very active at this time of day, and to hear one already? He just stayed where he was, miserably, trying not to think about it too much.

Featherkit
As a noise rustled from inside the nursery, she took one last glance outside and peeked her head in. She saw her denmate, Frostkit in his nest. She frowned and gently padded up next to him. "Are you okay Frostkit?" She looked at his pale expression and wondered if he was still scared of the fire. It had only happened a moon or two ago. She leaned down to smile at her denmate and murmured, "Why don't you come outside?" She flicked her tail towards the exit and purred, "I'd love to play!"

Cedarstar
Cedarstar hopped off the Great Rock as he saw his clanmates emerge from their dens, and began to purr. Instead of a purr however, it came out as a more congested, coughing fit, which he was slightly annoyed to find. He glanced at Mothflight and rolled his eyes. "Perhaps the fire effected me more than I let on." He rasped. With a good natured snort he laughed, "Here I am, a cat, and I can't even purr!" He turned towards Snowshine and Crowshadow and smiled. "I'll let my warriors choose today. Hunting, or patrol first?"

The ill youngling jumped at the sound of her fellow denmate, instantly unraveling from his curled up state. "Oh, um... Not really, I've been s-seeing things lately... Maybe later, alright?"

She let out a small short laugh and grinned brightly looking up at the leader " Give your self a break the fire is still affecting other cats" She purred reassuringly gazing up at him she sat down and curled her fluffy tail around her dotted paws "Anyways Good Morning CedarStar!" She said smiling
