Her arms crossed, which was a habit. She almost always walked with a disapproving look and her arms folded up at her midsection. "Well Corri," she started shallowly. "It's getting late. Helicopters and such will begin patrolling soon. Wanna pack up your junk and find a half decent place to sleep." Her armor was slightly crooked and bent, which caused her to look bigger than she was. She could feel her red cape billowing in the wind.

"Immitation," he stated, running his optics over Jade's uptight position. "You honestly believe it would work against me," Other than the snarky comments, Corri's tone was passive, low, as if he didn't really care either way.

Jade scoffed. "Whatever wise guy. You haven't seen the worst of me yet" She unsheathed her sword, and looked at her own reflection in the black metal. He hand moved her bangs away from her eyes before she turned to walk back to camp, still twirling the blade like a baton. "I'm not your average teenage girl if that's what you think."

Shadow really hates people. In fact, she'll do all that's in her power to be away from people. She's always been solitary her whole life, and it certainly won't change now. She enjoys nature and the forest and will often take a walk to calm her nerves. It takes a lot to get her to trust you, and she certainly won't become your friend immediately. She has general trust issues and often wants to do everything herself because she doesn't trust others doing things themselves. She's extremely intelligent and wise for her age. She tends to take everything calmly, no matter what is going on, which tends to make other people sometimes nervous. She tends to be a very closed spirit and will rarely admit what's really going on with her.

History:
Shadow's assigned parents died in a car crash when she was only eleven, so she was sent to a new family. She's been bouncing from family to family ever since then, and this is what caused her to gain so much independence. She ran away as soon as she discovered that she could do 'weird stuff' and that the government was after her to poke her with needles. She found about the secret ranch for other 'weird people', so she went to find it, and, well, now here she is.

"I've seen you shift," Corri chuckled, in the same low, detached manner. "Why would I think you were something otherwise."

Jade chuckled, surprisingly. "Your right. Personality wise though, I'm a foreign species." She could get along with this kid, his wise crack jokes were sort of amusing, she turned her head around her shoulder. "You coming or not?"

Shadow stood in front of the gate before realizing it was locked and there was no way in, unless... She sighed. She didn't like melting herself, but if she was to get in...
Her eyes turned to look at the shadows formed by the gate before she closed her eyes and visualized herself sinking into those shadows. She opened her eyes again, shivering at the way that she was immaterial before re-making her body up inside of the gate.
She shivered one last time. No matter how warm she was dressed, it was always chilly as a shadow.
She looked around the area, impressed at the size of it. "Not half bad," she muttered before looking around again, trying to find a person. Just the thought of people caused her to shudder again. Oh, quit being irrational, they're just people, they won't eat you the sensible part of her brain told her. Can't help my fear, she replied internally before looking around again.
