Oh man look what came today.

I am so happy I can't even think straight. I pre-ordered this soo long ago, and now it's finally here. I am so glad that it officially got released in English. Thank you so much, One Peace Books. ;~; This is my favorite manga in existence and I have it in my hands ahahahah oh gosh.

Yeah I have to second (uh... third? fourth?) Paranoia Agent.

It's one of the animes I always recommend to people who say they dislike anime. It's not the action packed hyperactive stuff that most get really into. I really can't say enough about it, but there were times I literally watched it with my jaw opened because of how messed up some of the stuff was. Not gore (it was never gorey) just disturbing. There was one scene where a boy was throwing up all of the stuff he had studied for a test, like throwing up words and numbers... that scene will be just carved into my head until the day I die.

The director Satoshi Kon is up there with like Hayao Miyazaki as a very celebrated director even outside of the anime community. Any of his stuff is really great, although I've not seen a lot of it. Some of his stuff is on Netflix I think.

Finally finished Strike the Blood today. I've been meaning to mark it as finished for forever now, but just didn't have the motivation to finish it. Overall, not a bad story. I just wish the main female lead had laid off of the male lead a bit. Not really sure what to watch next, but I'll find something.

This is really random, but are there any plans to remake this thread when we hit the page limit? I haven't seen Flightstar in forever, and Dobby only gets on now and again.

I think we should definitely remake it. It's a pretty active topic, so there's obviously a need for one on the forums here! It's just that yeah they haven't been active at all. I don't know how we'd go about figuring out who would remake it. Maybe the interested parties could fill out a form and then the other members could vote on who they'd like to get it? Or maybe it can just be based on who has been active or something? Or one of us could always try to message Dobby and see if they would ever respond

I'll send a PM to Dobby. If she doesn't respond by the time the thread hits 900 pages we can decide what we want to do from there, but I think it would be better to let her decide rather than to have us compete for rights of remake.

But was Al's body really soulless? One of the things I never understood with FMA:B was how Al's body seemed to have it's own mind separate from the one that was trapped in the armor. His real body was like an older, wiser version of his mind inside the suit. But if his soul and mind were inside of the armor, what was inside of his body when he was communicating with it...?

Someone on TV Tropes came up with a theory that Truth was "wearing" Al's body, in the same way that Truth wore Ed's limbs.
