Age: Looks to be about 18 or 9, but in reality is about 300 years old.

Personality: Passionate, independent, and mysterious, Kano is not a man to be toiled with. His resolve is unyielding and his strength and ability to heal are remarkable.

Though his skill both heals and kills, in reality, Kano hates to see bloodshed and sacrifice. He is rather gentle on the inside, if you reach him through his facade of cool indifference and detachment. On the outside, he seems reserved, though he has a pull, a draw, that makes him bewitching. His crushing aura is one of pure confidence and self-reassurance. Kano spends no time with self-concsious issues or "what ifs" because he knows hesitation can bring only misery and violence. That being said, he does not forgive easily and rarely ever changes his mind once he has decided on something.

As a friend, Kano is compassionate, understanding and dependable. His advice is admirable and honest, though he spares no kind words of condolence. He believes that the best way to learn from one's mistakes are to suffer for them and stand one's ground. Pity gets you no where. Kano can seem as though he has a heart of stone at times, even to those he cares about, but in a world so dominated by blood and power, leaving your emotions on your sleeves to be read like a book just isn't an option.

History: He generally doesn't talk about it. All that matters is that he made it to the Soul Society and trained hard enough to get where he is today. When asked, he merely replies with a dark smile.

Description of what your Shencai looks like: When released, Iyashinokiri emits a cloudy, white mist that has healing capabilities and a strong sedative that makes most enemies fall asleep if inhaled, as well as those who are injured and need treating. At the same time, that mist can turn green and become a deadly toxin that if inhaled more than three times will potentially cause death. Kano controls what type of mist his blade creates.

Hakiero forcibly pushed Toshiro's and Sky's minds out of his own, severing the link with a gasp. He shuddered for a moment, gathering his bearings before getting to his feet. "I'm...alright. Let's go get Kaiyou." His smile was weak and worry plagued his amber eyes, but he walked in the opposite direction of the injured others.

Yoshino's hands dropped from his shoulder and cheek as she h=just sat there watching him move on, she knew he wasn't alright but there was nothing she could do...was there? She stood and ran up behind him and grabbed his hand and stopped hoping he would stop too, Yoshi couldn't go on with her plans at this moment if something was wrong, she would wait until problems were fixed before proceeding,"Haki-kun..."she whispered

Sky let out another moan in her sleep, her eyes snapped open and she bent over the bed, not noticing Ray and vomited blood onto the floor and then sat there coughing. "Crap" She gasped out, that Soul Reaper had barely helped at all.

Kaiyou frowned and paused. "Are they coming to me?" She asked herself as she felt the Spirit Pressure, she yawned lightly and shrugged to herself.

Kano hurried out to Skylar, his pale face smooth and relaxed. "I'm going to take on your healing now. Just lie down and relax as best you can." He said in a cool, almost alluring voice. It wasn't like he meant to be that way; he supposed it was just the way he happened to be. With an easy motion, he created a healing barrier around her and began to work at the wound on her throat. closing his crimson eyes in concentration. "My name's Kano by the way."

Aya finally reached Kaiyou, glancing over at Naniri who didn't seem to be taking the flashstepping too well. "Captain." She said, dipping her head in respect. "I found a..." She paused, searching for the best word to use for Naniri. She didn't seem to mean any harm and didn't seem to know how she had gotten in the Soul Society. "Stranger and Tisagu came back. The one from the Hueco Mundo patrol."

Kaiyou looked at Aya and blinked her orange eyes twice. "Uh, okay then" She mumbled and then realized that wasn't a good responce and straightened up and looked at Naniri and Tisagu. "Name?" She asked the girl in Tisagu's arms.

Sky let out a small cough as she lay down and blinked a few times. "Yo" She muttered moodily and frowned slightly, she wanted to go see Toshiro. "I'm Skylar" She added and sighed.

[Mizuri_Kannashi]

Naniri slowly let herself out of the soul reapers arms and shakily stood up, survaying the new surroundings. Noticing the superior looking soul reaper she blinked and stood straiter, eyed the reaper, calculating her skills and sizing her up incase something went wrong. Carefully searching the reaper's hands, muscles and reactions. Snorting she took a small step back. 'Ha, I'd last a few seconds against her... best option is to run... although she can probably use that stupid flash step too...' She though as she griped her katana harder. "The name is Naniri." She said warily.

Kaiyou narrowed her bright orange eyes, her one arm flashed up and pointed to Naniri. "Put down your Katana, you fool" She said coldly, her dark red hair slightly went over her left eye, and her kimono skillfully covered up her missing right arm. The long kimono sleeves showed neither arm, even though she only had one.

[Mizuri_Kannashi]

Naniri flinched back as the reaper's eyes took on a look she new all to well, that cold, menicing look of superiority and demandingness. The same eyes her father had when he had ran her through with her own katana. Growling she took another step back, momentarily lost in memory as her eyes glazed over. Her hand clenched the grip of the katana harder, her knuckles turning white as her scarred eye began to throb in pain and bleed. Droping to her knee she clutched the bleeding side for her face with distain clearly etched into her features.

Kaiyou let out a sigh and got on her knees near the injured girl, she held out her hand. "I'm sorry, I'm not usually cold like this, I'm trying to be more Captain like, come on get up, I'll take you to forth squad so someone can stop the bleeding" She offered with a smile.

Naniri watched werily as the captain came over, seeing no sign of hostility she relaxed and let the captain kneel next to her. Taking the offered hand she shakily stood, slid her katana and sheath into her obi and waited for the captain to show her the way.
