Flame glanced at Torunn, who had fallen to the ground before turning his attention back to the bat. That is certainly the weirdest name I have ever heard of, he thought. Given he had been named a simple, real word and had been the pet to a truly uncreative kid, that was saying something. "Disregard his amusement at your name." He coughed, trying to think of something else to say. Nothing came to mind, however, and he looked around at his fellow Sacrificed members as if silently asking that they continue the conversation. He expected this was a human, and they should not just let her go.
This world is crazy. How was that funny, the bat ceased to understand. She had seen worse in the past twenty minutes, though, so she decided to ignore the green dog. Come to think of it, she had never gotten their names. "And I think it would be easier for me if I knew your names?" she said, raising an eyebrow (Apparently bats did have them) as she gazed at the group.
I'm socially awkward and sometimes terse - don't mind me.
