Crystal Paradise

(Its afternoon I think and everyones just exploring, some people are meeting each other.)

- Mm... yeah, pretty much like what Goths said. Mid-morning, noon. Somewhere around there.

Memphis padded through the forest, walking along the jungle trails. Eventually he broke out of the trees and found himself on the wide, open, grassy area. He could see the Glass Building in the far distance, and from here, two or three of the lakes on the valley. He started forward again, toward the building.

Nassir entered the elevator, not sure what to expect. He pressed button that said '9'. It glowed, and the elevator started moving. He rode to his floor and stepped out, into the hall. Still timid of what he'd find, Nassir walked toward suite seventeen.

Teusday looked over at Memphis, her dark eyes straining to see under her even darker thick hair that fell over her face. She stood up and shook her long bushy black and white tail and slowly walked behind (from a far away distance) Memphis.

Memphis kept walking. He didn't mind the long walk from the beach to the building, but he really had intended to spend more time outside. He couldn't do that without anything to paint on, though. With a sigh, Memphis picked up his pace. But Freckles started growling softly and slowed, looking behind them. "What's wrong, girl?" Memphis asked, scratching the husky's head. Dallas paused and looked at his sister, then perked his ears and looked around.

Faolan was in her room. She quietly looked out of the window, sighing. She sat back down onto her bed and read a book. She could hear Nanook open the door. She sighed, and her ears flattened. She kept glancing out the window, her periwinkle eyes glowed as sunlight hit them and she slightly smiled.

Memphis shrugged and continued toward home. He stopped at one of the lakes to let his dogs get a drink, and stared at the clear water for a moment. It was a pretty, strange blue. This must be the spring-fed one. He patted Freckles's head and decided to take a break. He sat down on the lakeshore and watched a few fish swim around in the shallows.

Nassir made it to his room and took out the key he'd been given. He unlocked the door and went inside, then just stood there, staring at it. "Wow." His sister had done an excellent job at painting the walls- they mirrored the savannah perfectly. He shook his head and shut the door quietly behind him, taking in his new home.

Teusday, after going upstairs to get Lewis and change into her bathing suite, came back down to the beach and sat at the the shore, basking in her black/purple swiming suite that wasnt even shown because of the fact that she had drapped herself in one of those black towl dresses. Teusday talked to Lewis happily as she stroked him with her feet dipped in the water.

Nanook looked into his sister's room. "What are you doing?" he asked curiously.
"I'm reading a book," Faolan answered quietly.
"Why don't you go outside and do something useful?"
"This is useful."
"Ugh," Nanook grumbled. "Suit yourself." He muttered and walked out of her room, quietly closing her door.

Faolan sighed, she continued to read. Truthfully, she really did want to go outside...but she was scared. Just as she always was. Shaking her head, she sighed and settled the book onto her stomach. She pulled herself up and leaned on the pillow. Her eyes were bright as she turned her head and looked outside.

Memphis watched his dogs splash around in the crystal-clear water, occasionally pouncing at fish or chasing eachother through the lake. It was deep toward the center, but around for a few dozen yards around the shore it was shallow. Memphis perked his ears, watching the dogs startle a flock of geese.

Nassir dropped his bag on the floor and wandered around the suite for awhile. It was awesome. His sisters would love this. Again, he wondered why they hadn't come. He brushed the thought off and went to the kitchen. It was also painted. How long had it taken his sister to paint this place? Must have been forever. After inspecting pretty much every inch of his new living space, he went to the window and opened it, sticking his head out. He looked down. "Cool!" Nassir declared. It was so high up!

Faolan sighed. "I'm going outside," she said to her brother as she passed. She opened and closed the door, her ears twitched. "Wow," She said, surprised. She walked a little slower, looking around contently. So many...just like her! She felt warm sun on her face. She looked up, smiling, and decided to check out the rivers. She'd heard so much about them from Nanook.
