Favorite Dressage Horse & Why Donnerhall - He was an Oldenburg stallion, winning not only several gold medals, also in the world equestrian games, but also winning lots of hearts. Donnerhall was known for his movement and his good character. In this term I have to say that I also love his progeny. You can tell what a foal of his is and that's something not every stallion can say of himself. Sadly he died in 2002 due to a complication. When I was still very young I got to see him when my aunt took me to an international competition and she said I grinned all the time while he was the arena. He was a truly exceptional horse, competing during a time when "Rollkur" or hyperflexion wasn't as present in dressage and I still loved to watch the competitions. (It hurts me to see how dressage horses are treated nowerdays and I'm not into watching dressage that much anymore, although I ride dressage myself.)
Gif/Picture of your favorite horse preforming a move you mentioned: Half-Pass
*Click*, it's hard to find good pictures of him and I love this video. And I have had huge problems with the english and german definitions of the movements. I hope it's right now, at least Half-Pass should equal with "Traversale" in german.

* Unlike most other German Warmblood horses the Trakehner is allowed to be registered in all coat colors that are possible (and present in the breed) check *here*, though the site is in german. Paints are present in the breed, having their own lineage. They are also known as "Trakehner Schecken".
Fill out the form by the directions I gave! ^__^ You are welcome to include a appropriate mare if you own one, if you wish, but otherwise no extras please! If you have any questions, send them my way! I hope this leads to some dressage research for those of you who don't know to much about it! Also, I will embroider an initial or symbol on his saddle pad, and MAYBE add a brand. ^__^
