"Its okay, kit." Xavier muttered as he muzzled Snakekit's head. He wondered if the young one even had parents.

Sandkit looked up at Xavier her amber eyes shimmering with fear, the sparks of the fire seemed to catch up with her ear for it had a little nick.

Autumn kept walking her pelt bristled as she caught the sent of another cat. She unsheathed her claws and saw a Rouge with Snakekit and Sandkit. She stayed down wind being as quiet as she could.

Honeypaw soon began crying weakly, the smoke damaging her lungs

Xavier looked at Sandkit, "How long were you there?" he whispered then looked at Snakekit, "That doesn't matter. Lets go find the others. You're safe now, though." he continued as he nuzzled Sandkit and smiled as he started padding to find the other cats of the clan. He then noticed a few once he saw the river, "There! Come on, you two."

Snakekit looked over at Sandkit and smiled, going over to her, "Are you okay?" he squeaked, then looked at her ear, "The medicine cat can fix that! Lets go!" he mewed as he darted next to Xavier.
