((Dovepaw started to give birth and Mintpool is helping her. A loner mother named Silverwing came into the camp with her kits who were nearly unconscious. Silverwing is in the medicine den and Shadowheart, Cloverleaf, and Raincloud are warming the kits.))

Beaverkit walked away from the nursery and sat in the camp. He didn't want to be there, not when kits were being born.

Blossomkit watched Mintpool. She couldn't bare to look at Dovepaw.

[[Darn it, I feel like such a bad father. Splashfoot's post sailed right over my head. >.<]]

Vinepaw perked his ears hearing destressed wails, he automatically recognized Dovepaw's voice. "Dovepaw!" He ran over to the nursery and burst through the entrance. "Mintpool, is she okay?" He asked, looking at Dovepaw worriedly. He pressed his nose to her cheek. "It's okay....just hang n there."

Silverleaf
Silverleaf let out a long hard cough. She looked back at her kits, but trusted these cats and solemnly followed the med. cat into the den. She collapsed on the nest and shivered. "I'm sorry for causing you trouble... my mate died, and I didn't know what to do with my kits when I got sick!" Her eyes were sorrowful and lonely.

Fernkit
Fernkit cired out for her mother. The new cats around her were making her uncomfortable, but atleast she was warm.

Blackkit
Blackkit was still out cold.

Graykit
Graykit clawed at the new cats, but he was so weak, it barely phased them. He layed on the ground helplessly, and let out a cough.

Pebblekit
Pebblekit sensed the new cats were there to help, so he sat while they licked him to warm. He squirmed, trying to get them to go to his siblings who needed it more. He opened his menacing pale blue eyes at let out a sharp cry, shaking off the licks of the other cats, trying to lead them to his siblings. He had to be strong for them.

Raincloud
Raincloud licked the gray kit, trying to warm him. He tucked the kitten into his chest and rubbed him against his fur.

Cometfern purred, "You're growing wise for your age, Murkypaw. I have many reasons to be proud of you." The sun, by now, had rolled in front of the clouds, flaring in the meadow of pristine blue hues. "I want to assess you today, and perhaps, you will be a warrior very soon." She breathed in the soothing sent of the air, allowing the wind to go down her throat. "You can go anywhere in the forest, though don't get too close to the Thunderpath, or the Twolegs." She knew that her apprentice already knew all of this, but she went over the basics just in case.

Murkypaw dipped her head modestly, but her pale green eyes - usually so dull with annoyance or boredom - glowed with pride. "Thank you, Cometfern," she mewed. "Your praise means much to me." And without waiting for her mentor's reply, the young she-cat bunched her muscles and bounded into the forest, disappearing behind an immense oak tree within heartbeats.

Rivertail trotted towards Icestar's den, a single mission in his mind. I must earn his trust, he thought. Before my plan goes into action, I must gain the trust of my leader.

OOC - Darr... Rivertail's post is lame, but at least I'm using him again. :3

[Seasonal]

Icestar rolled in his nest and snorted out of disgust. He thought that he heard pawsteps outside of his den; he quickly groomed his pelt of moss, then stretched out his limbs and sat down.

Dovepaw stared up at Vinepaw with relief. But her head wrenched away and she screwed up her face in pain. A loud wail escaped her jaws and a small kit toppled onto the soft moss. She gave a big sigh in relief, but another sharp pain in her stomach told her there was another one coming.

"You can do it, Dovepaw!"
Mintpool mewed, nipping open the sac and started furiously licking the kit. She pushed it over to Vinepaw and meowed,
"Start licking!"

Blossomkit turned away, not wanting to watch. Yet, she felt she had to. She turned back around. "Come on Dovepaw! You can do it!"
