Snowpaw lowered her voice to a whisper, "I have a crush on... Birchpaw."

"Birchpaw?" Speckpaw smiled. "Good luck with that. There's a cat I sorta like..."

Snowpaw started jumping around her again, "Tell me, tell me, tell me!" she squeaked.

Flamefur spotted Robinthroat, but decided to just leave her be.

"Where's Dad? How come he hasn't come to visit us today?" Maggotkit mewled questioningly.

Robinthroat pricked her ears up to the sound of pawsteps emerging from the medicine cat's den. She turned around to see Flamefur, who was still coated with blood. "You okay? Did Duckwing say you could leave yet?"
