Her breath was rapid and unsteady as she raced through the trees. The humanoid creature was right on her heels, and was not going to give up that easily without a kill. The girl, it's victim, suddenly did the worst thing possible-turn around-she was just barely halfway turned when her foot caught edge of a gnarled root. She fell to the ground, disoriented as she whacked her head against the log. When she finally cane through-only moment later, but what seemed to be several minutes-she was starring in to the creatures ferine eyes. The scream came from her throat so abruptly the creature seemed surprised, but the second it realize what she had done, in an agitated rage it leapt at her. The girl still wailing. . .
On the other side of camp the others all came to the attention of the screams. A sigh escaped one of the males throats, and he quickly turned to the rock he was standing by. With the second smaller rock in his hand, he started to scrape out one of the names on it, "Maple. . . Gone." he muttered quietly. . .

So. . . What is happening here? Well, as a late teen[17-19] you've decided you want to enter a contest to go backpacking. And, well you've won. But as your hiking along the trail, you're starting to realize that things aren't what they seem to be. There's a clan of pale white Feral-like humanoid creatures. . . stalking you. And they do not come in peace. During you're first encounter, you've wandered off the trail, and are now lost deep in the woods with the rest of your patrol. The only things you need to do are: 1. Survive. 2. Get back safely. . . But, this will be harder than it looks.

-Rules-
#1: All of Tess's rules apply.
#2: This is Semi-literate, so I expect at least 100 words[It's not as much as you think] with proper capitalization & punctuation. Writer's Block is understandable.
#3: Chatspeak is not allowed in character, Out of character on the other hand I will allow small things like 'lol' or 'rolf' or 'xD' but please do nt tlk leik dis all de tme.
#4: OOC must be defined in either OOC:, {{}}, [[]], (()), or something along those lines.
#5: Please try to stay active, and tell us if your leaving, or going on a trip c:
#6: No same user character love, as well as no automatic mates when we start out.
#7: Write at least a paragraph for the personality if possible, history is optional.
#8: Absolutely no killing and/or severely hurting other peoples chars without permission[You may scratch them, mildly cut them, but nothing as in Broken bones, or cuts that sever arteries], the 'creatures on the other hand you may, but keep in mind they are not easy to kill.
#9: Have fun with making up your character, don't think of it as 'oh now I have to go fill out a long form T.T. . .' You don't have anything to lose, because you can reserve spots.
#10: No detailed romance scenes, or anything.
#11: I'll allow cursing, but please don't go over board and curse every other word or something like that.
#12: Keep things pg 13.
#13:I can add more rules if I need to, I'll be sure to let you guys know when I do. If you choose to break these rules more than 3 times you'll be banned for a short period[maybe a week], if you continue to break the rules I'll kick you out.
#14: Please don't take it personally if someone's character is being mean to you, the secret phrase is 'Run this Town' put it in other.
#15: If you join this roleplay, try to stay active as much as possible. If you're going on vacation try to notify us. . . because you will be removed after not RPing for 10 days. If you get taken off and want to be put back on just PM me c:

Personality[1 Paragraph]: Evan, being one of the oldest guys, is slightly more responsible. He makes an excelent leader, taking controle easyly over the group. However, Evan likes to keep to himself. He is quiet, almost mistiriouse. He is easyly tempered but has learned to keep his anger inside himself instead of taking it out on others.
Other then being quiet, he is actually a pretty fun guy. After breaking through his tough shell, you will see that he is a real sweetheart. He will always fight for the ones he cares about.
History[Optional]: Evan grew up without a father. His mother, his sister and him always traveled. Evan had always been a bad guy, drinking and fighting. But it all changed when his long lost father murdered his baby sister. Evan gave up his drinking, his friends and his life to track down his father. After years of serching, he found him. It took Evan no time at all to murder his father. The secret still bothers him but he always remembers why he did it.

Personality: Tamesis is a smart bloke, and is often seen as a rolemodel. At 6ft2, with a muscular frame, he automatically gives a protective aura. Since his parents deaths back when he was 17, he took control of his life, managing himself and others around him with apparent ease. Extremely protective of his sister, Morgan, he rarely lets her out of his sight because beneith his tough exterior, he cannot bear to lose another person close to him. He stays on track, and always finishes what he has started. He's a bottle-er, and he bottle's up his emotions and feelings into the back of his mind, left to be released for when he is working out, for he feels that if he shows his emotions, then everyone will know how much his parent's deaths had affected him, as he partially sees it as his fault.
On the romance side of life, Tamesis is once again, serious. He may take a few shots at a girl if he liked them, but he’s never found anyone who has truly taken his breath away. With them, he wouldn’t be afraid to spill out his heart for her, tell her of his past. For this, only the utmost amount of trust is given to the girl, and for this reason, Tamesis is reluctant to fall for anyone. Scared of betrayal, he often never goes past that ‘just friends’ stage, and has often let girls slip through his fingers because of it.
History: Born in London, England, Tamesis and Morgan moved to the town when he was 8 due to his father's work. They attented the local highschool and settled in easy enough. Tamesis grew older with time, and matured to be a sensible young man with a bright future. He applied for Oxford and Cambridge universities back in England, and got into both with flying colours and had planned to move back to England on his own but the demise of his parents meant that he couldn't leave Morgan behind. He stayed voluntarily, despite Morgans insitance that he should go and finish his education. He doesn’t speak of his past to anyone, only Morgan.

Personality: Morgan used to be loud, talkative and also considered to be rather flirtatious and up for a good laugh. Always smiling, her deep green eyes that matched her brother’s so well twinkling, she was considered beautiful, though she brushed off those comments with an airy wave. After the day her parents died, she grew quieter and quieter. She rarely speaks, and can easily go for a week without talking. She finds that if she talks, then people respond to her. Attention is the last thing she wants, especially as she feels like bursting into tears at any second. However, she hasn’t shed a tear, and has instead gathered herself and confined her tears to escape on a day that will eventually come no matter how hard she tries. She isn’t looking for love, although unless it whacks her in the face with a frying pan, she wouldn’t be aware of it. She doesn’t think that she could deal with being broken hearted.
Self-confined to her mind, she is a great thinker, and very intelligent. Only those who know her well can tell how she is feeling due to the small movements she makes; her hands, eyes, and body movements are subtle, and even Tamesis doesn’t understand them fully. She only speaks for him when the occasion calls for it, although her voice is weak and partially lost due to the lack of use. Tamesis keeps on informing her that if she doesn’t start talking, then she will never be able to use her voice again, although she ignores him. She things that she would never want to speak again, and has no plans to.
History: Same as Tamesis’s, although she was studying for medicine

Personality[1 Paragraph]: Haylee is considered one of the more, dominant, in the group. She doesn't like to take crap from others, especially if they are whining about something that is fixable. She's hard edged, and head strong, not backing down from her beliefs easily Likes to take on fights and challenges, even though she knows it'll come back to bite her. If you don't know her, or are yourself considered a dominant, she can seem like a real Jack-ass. But with her sweet and innocent appearance, once you see her personality, you'd probably feel mislead.
Many don't take her as a real threat when they first meet her, but she's quite rough, so they quickly think otherwise. Sometimes she can be quite rude. Feisty.
Romantically, she's a flirt, and likes to go for guys. But never really has any luck because no one can seem to really break her shell. So instead she just keeps friends with them, but maybe that special relationship could change her to the nicer side of her personality.
Her nicer side, is actually very protective over friends, making her an excellent defender[oh and by the way she always seems to do better when someones watching her]. She'd do almost anything for her close friends[or fellow clan members in this case], no matter how made she is at them.
History[Optional]: Being a local to the area right outside of where they were hiking, Haylee was very familiar, with the woods. She had never had any problems before, hiking in them, and had been since she was able to walk. She loved nature, so that was why her parents took her out here, to live on her uncle in his small ranch.
She spent most of her time outside, hiking, sketching the scenery, and she felt as if it were a second home to be truthful. She loved it out there, but she as only suppose to be with her uncle for the summer. Time and time against she made excuses, to stay with her uncle managing a full five years with him, enrolling in the local public school. But her parents were fed up with her, and decided to take her back the year. Now the thing about her parents was that they would never pass up an opportunity for their daughter, so Haylee signed herself up for the seven day backpacking trip. Which was in three months at the time, and her parents were forced to let her stay.
