Jake smiled again, blushing this time ", Well... Um... I was wondering if you'd be my girlfriend?" He asked, glancing down at their hands. He looked around before looking back at her.

Sunset dashed over to North and licked him on his cheek. " Good Morning, sweetheart." She said with a smile. " So we need to talk..." She said, her smile growing bigger. Sunset glanced over at Rain ", Oh, I didn't notice you there. I'm sorry, did I interrupt you?" She said.

Sunset sat down at the other side of the cage, still smiling. " Okay so I have some MAJOR news!" She said, her tail wagging.

Jake wrapped his arms around her, his muscular harms holding her tightly and securely. He kissed her on the forehead and whispered in her ear ", I love you." He rested his chin lightly on her head. Jake had liked her since he was fourteen, but never had the strength to tell her.

After a while, Jake released her ", I guess I should go ahead and apply for a job here. " he said. " You know you should too, it would be fun."

Cloud walked back to the cave. His attempt of playing with the cubs had failed and he felt a little grumpy. Suddenly, his mood lifted. "Jazz!" He exclaimed, padding into the cave. "Hey!" His voice echoed.

North woke up. His side hurt a bit. He dragged himself up, yawning. "Morning." He said to the rest of the wolves, although no one was probably listening.

Jess's eyes widened. "That's awesome! I would totally visit you, like, anytime I could. I mean-" She felt the back of her neck with her other hand, and glanced at the floor. "-I'd have to ask my mum. You know, with my exams and all... But I'm sure she'd be cool with it!" She took her second hand and put it with his, holding his with both hands now. As he spoke, she looked into his eyes, just as he looked into hers. "Yes?"

Jazz looked up as Cloud walked into the cave. She had just finished grooming and now her fur looked glossy and soft. "Hey Cloud, how are you?"
