Flamefur sighed after she left and lied his head on his paws.

Peachtail swished her tail appreciatively at Katie. She knew that the white-and-gray she-cat had a point and normally she would have encouraged such advice, but she didn't want to anger or stress Jackdawpaw out even more by overwhelming him with chatter.

"Hey," Batfang mewed to Flamefur after he had dragged the dead bodies away and washed his paws and mouth in the stream. "How are you doing?"
