Chikako maneuvered her gaze onto "Scorpio" when her hand was nudged. He seemed
to want to say something, but he wasn't able to because of the simple fact he was an
animal. It peaked her interest as he ran off and came back about a minute later with
something in his jaw. The black wolf dropped it in front of her and held onto it's wing
with his paw. The item actually appeared to be a bug of some sort on closer inspection.
Something seemed familiar about the small creature and she was sure she saw it
before. It was on the tip of her tongue. The answer conveniently popped into her mind
at that moment, and as a result, a surprised gasp rose from her and her brown caramel eyes widened to the point of looking like bowling balls. "Scorpio, where did you find that? I thought I told you not to touch those things, however much you were trying to protect me!" She whisper-yelled her words at the end, not sure if she was willing to let the others know her pet had been seeing the bugs too. Though when she deeply thought about it, she wasn't sure what she was trying to hide. A thought occurred to her that her friend's pets might have seen them too. Besides, if Scorpio could see them then so can the other animals. She glanced at her friends and their pets, as if expecting them to know what she was thinking and confirm her possibilities.

Yvera was glad she hadn't fallen asleep after all. The black wolf, Yukio, had managed to go out and catch a demon. Vera siddled onto the floor and scampered over, sniffing the thing in disgust. She wanted to say something, but knew better than to speak. It was one of the only rules- don't reveal yourself to the humans. She didn't see why they couldn't just tell their humans the whole story, but she would never break the rules. Instead she just let out a squeak to show her detest for the demon.

Katsu sat back and let the others do the talking. They had pretty much stated all that he would have and he didn't particularly want to repeat everything. He was glad as all of the animals returned to their sides, his black cat jumping up in his lap upon her arrival. Some people seemed to be naming their animals after zodiac signs, he did like the idea. Though he couldn't exactly put his finger on one that fit his little cat, besides Cancer and he wasn't too fond of the name itself. So he decided on something similar, Cadence. She nudged him, bringing him out of his thoughts he began to pet her lightly, then returned to listening to the conversation. Scorpio, as the black wolf had apparently been named, seemed to bring back one of the speck-like bugs they had been talking about, catching Katsu's eye.

Yuka quickly returned along with the rest of them, wishing to get back to her human's side as soon as possible. She sat at his feet, occasionally rubbing her head against his leg in her small fox form. Though she listened to every word of their conversation as they spoke of the specks that they continued to see. Yukio left and returned with one of the demon bugs, the human he guarded scolded him for it and Yuka probably would have too if she had wanted to break the rules. While it would be quite simple to kill just one of them, she still felt it was quite reckless of him to bring one straight to them of all places. It sent a small chill down her spine and the aching sense of worry returned in her gut as she hoped that he hadn't led others to their current location.

Yukio Okumura looked down at the creature. It was so blank it didn't even know he attacked it. Would it even feel the pain when he killed it? Yukio knew the larger ones, ones to worry about when you see them and knew for sure right now it would be fighting back. But this thing just squirmed slightly. When he let it go only enough to keep it near him it just wobbled around as if he was still in his little pack, so dumb. Yukio reach his head over not even having to move to catch it and bit down hard. The thing poofed away sending little black spots everywhere to soon disintegrate into the air. he looked up at his owner whining then over at the ferret. He stepped back. Him the biggest in front of the smallest. He leaned down sniffing it and tilting his head a little as if he was confused to see such a thing. He picked it up earlier even stating then how odd it was. So long and tiny but looked like those teeth sticking out from under her mouth could stink like a bee. It looked fast too. At first he doubted it could protect his owner but in a way he believed it could.

Yvera looked up at the wolf. His eyes were full of curiosity, like he was wondering how such a tiny creature could protect anyone. Vera wondered about that herself at first, but she remembered something. When she was alive, her best friend had a cinnamon ferret that would slip under the bed covers and bite her toes with a vengeance. That, plus her thorn-sharp claws, were good for killing small demons. She hadn't come across a big one yet, but she figured her speed would help.

Lyon limped his way back to the tree house. He was topless and had lacerations all over his torso and back. He had a few bite marks in his upper left leg and knew he had a better chance of not getting in trouble if he showed up as a lost hiker that was attacked by a large cat. Seeing the tree house, he fell to the floor panting and slowly bleeding. "Transform! Transform dang it!!" he yelled mentally and realized he used most of his energy fighting off the hoard of large demons. He was truly in trouble now. He had a lie in place and had to find a reason as to why Kohaku couldn't take him to the hospital. He looked forward and up to the window of the house and hoped someone would notice soon.

Loke just stared in fear as the large wolf had a bug thing. He lost his cool and threw himself over the nearest thing to protect him. He was curious as to what they were, but his initial fear was far greater. "What does he think he's doing? Bringing one of those things in here?!" he exclaimed and pushed his glasses back up his face.

Yukio Okumura was about to interact with the ferret when a human freaked out. He narrowed his eyes. Pathetic. Him human knew about the bugs and even helped him get rid of them even thought she told him not to protect her. This boy must have never killed one in his life. He's scared of one of these demons? Such little things that cant even harm a fly yet alone open their mouths yet. He turned around when hearing noise and started to growl seeing the form of Lyon. Before anyone else could Yukio jumped down. "You need to learn how to work as a team or else this wouldn't have happened." he said whispering to Lyon. It annoyed him that he ran off his owner already walked in annoyed that her protecting pet was gone. He sighed looking up and barking getting the humans attention to come and help this 'random hurt guy.'

The white haired boy huffed in humor and rolled onto his back. "Better to lose one angel rather than an entire team though," he huffed out and winced in pain. "Trust me, I tried to change back into my animal form, but it just won't happen if you don't have enough energy." He closed his eyes and smiled a weak smile. "It shouldn't be long though," he felt the smaller scratches already healing over quickly and his ability to breath was getting better slowly.

Kohaku sat there with the rest of the humans and most of the pets that had returned, her hand stroking the wolf's soft fur, but all the while was biting her lip and worrying. Where could have the German Shepherd possibly gone? Surely he didn't stray off too far, but there was no telling. She didn't even know if he'd return, but was secretly hoping her pet would. She still didn't have a name for him; was that why he left? A lame possibility, but it could be the case.

A sudden commotion outside had her sitting up, posture straightening as she leaned forward to try and look outside. The wolf was off of his feet and exiting in a hurry, and barks afterwards had her stiffening up. Was that her dog, or just the wolf barking? She was the next to quickly scamper down the ladder and shortly after noticed a white-haired male who couldn't be too much older than herself looking rather scraped up with an expression like he was in pain. "What happened to you?" she asked in a slight panic, noting the wolf was here but sitting aside somewhat. Pale hands moved to hover over the cut up skin, hesitating on touching the mysterious figure "You're all cut up; do you need to go to the hospital?"

His eyes flashed open in a hurry as he recognized that voice. "No, no I can't! I don't have an insurance to cover it. Plus its only minor wounds." he sat up and scrunched his face up in pain. He brought he left leg up and rested his left arm on it. One eye was closed in pain and he felt the stinging of dead grass in the cuts. "Is there any way I could get a shower and some bandages?" He glared at the wolf and then smugly patted the large canines head. "What a good boy," he growled so only Yukio could hear him.
