(will post for others tomorrow)

Junior nuzzld the girl and as his rump was touched he pinned his ears and bucked before cantering off into the paddock calling out for any mares he could get to. His eyes scanning constantly, the smell of mares lingering as he called out continuously. nickering loudly he watched and looked curious to if mares would reply.

Jason grumbled to himself, clearly not impressed with this place, just by what he's seen so far. He slipped through the gate and walked towards his mare, voice calm, but he was still rigid. He came up to her slowly, gathering her lead, and laying his hand on her neck, petting her softly "I'm sorry baby girl... My fault. Shhhh..." He cooed, moving his hand up to her cheek and rubbing it in a small circle. He felt lark dip her head, a sign that she was calming down. He took a deep breath and kissed her nose, glad she didn't hurt herself. He did a complete and thorough inspection of his mare's legs and back, before looking towards the girl with her horse at the end of the paddock and "are you crazy? Didn't your parents ever teach you not to run up to a spooked horse? You could have gotten yourself hurt! You're lucky you didn't get bucked off, because she has completely gone sour to riders" He called to her, continuing to rub his mares cheek.

Lark was relieved when the girl slid off her back, and side stepped skiddishly when she did. She huffed, watching her run towards the other horse inside the fence. The paint mare breathed heavily and turned her attention to a loud whinny(Junior (: ) in the distance and returned it with a nervous nicker. She saw movement out of the corner of her eye and side stepped, though she stopped seeing it was Jason. She let him take her lead and nuzzled him gently, feeling much more secure now that he was there. She dipped her head, leaning into his rubbing, and closed her eyes, completely exhausted now. Lark snorted softly, listening to Jason talk, not really knowing who he was talking to, but she figured it was the girl that leapt onto her back.

      This is regarding a rule amendment on the front page of this thread: swearing is not allowed, even if "starred" out or partially omitted it is not acceptable. Also, please remember that posting images and links in your posts constantly is spam and not allowed (this includes fontmeme and fontveer). These rules have been in place since mid-August so there's no reason why you shouldn't be familiar with them by now. Unfortunately they add to the server strain meaning people using older technology struggle to load the pages. The one image or link rule includes images of "pets," as well, a few of you seem to have forgotten this so please bear it in mind for future.

      If you have concerns or queries you're welcome to send me a message or to drop us a help ticket.

Crystal breathed a bit more before jumping suddenly at the male's call. She gave him a sidelong glance and looked down. "I've never actually been around horses until now... I just... didn't want Elle or your own horse hurt is all. I wasn't really thinking... all I knew was I had to calm her..." she mumbled to the male though she was still easily heard but obviously shy. She hadn't really been thinking honestly. All she knew was she wanted to calm down everyone before anyone got hurt, the horses included. However, now that that was done, she had no reason to really socialize with the male. So, she slipped off now away from him and over to the paddock with Elle, head down slightly and eyes on the ground. She glanced up though and watched Elle softly before moving around the paddock to her. "Come here, girl... it's alright now," she cooed to the mare, reaching out her hand which shook from the weakness her body was in from her earlier fright.

Jason exhaled through his nose and watched her walk away. He understood she was just trying to help, but he couldn't afford to be sued for his horse injuring her. He was barely keeping his head above water as it was. He turned and kept a good and firm grip on Lark's lead. Taking extra care not to spook her again. He began leading her towards the barn so he could get her squared away before moving his stuff into his cabin and finally sit down and have a beer, completely forgetting about his hat. He walked into the barn and found an empty stall and turned lark loose inside, closing the door behind her. He took out her warning sign, stating that she could bite if anyone tried to interact with her, that she wasn't firmiliar with. His so called buddy really did a favor for him, by making Lark completely sour in the few months he borrowed her. One stupid decision and Jason was back to square one.

Jason hung his mares lead up on the hook outside her stall and walked back out of the barn towards his truck to unload Larks feed and supplements and put them in the feed room, which he had found, wandering around, looking for the tack room. After that, he moved his truck and parked it near his cabin and unloaded his stuff, moving it into the cabin, and setting it aside. He walked towards the couch and flopped down on it, letting out a sigh. Today just really wasn't his day. He began thinking of how much of a complete jerk he was towards the girl in the paddock and began to feel a little guilty, but there was now way the girl would let him apologies right now, so he'd have to do it later. Jason stood back up and went back out, hoping to find his old friend Mason.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Lark snorted and flicked her tail, pacing a little in her stall. She felt more secure in there than she did outside, but she was still very nervous. All the new sights and smells really made her anxious. She began sniffing around her stall. The stall smelled of another horse that must've had this stall before her, and she didn't like it. She brought her head back up and lipped at her limp looking Haynet, taking a few bites from it. Even the hay tasted different from where she came from. She let the rest drop to the ground and peered out of the stall between the closed bars, that kept her from putting her head out of the stall. She flicked her tail and remained quiet, listening to all the activity around her, letting her mind wander. So far, she was not impressed with this place
Crystal watched Elle a moment longer before spotting something nearby in the previous path of the spooked mare from earlier. She moved over to it curiously and picked up... a hat? She dusted it off, turning it around. It must belong to the guy who owned the other mare. Did he forget about it? She tilted her head a moment before sighing gently. She wasn't really sure how mad the man was at her. She frowned, turning it over in her hands a few times. She didn't even know his name. She glanced inside and all over the hat before finally finding his name. Oh... there it was. She glanced up and around before moving off quietly to the stables to try and find this Jason's cabin number, hopefully. However, while looking the hat over once more, she found herself... running into someone again, falling onto her arse. "Dangit... I really need to pay attention," she whined to herself and then immediately looked to the boy before recognizing the male as the one from before; Jason. "Oh my god, I'm so sorry... are... are you alright?" she asked, a little fidgety, afraid he might be mad. She helped him back up (if he was down) and then glanced around before handing his hat to him at arm's length. "I thought you might want this back..." she murmured in a shy and soft voice.
Jason turned quickly, remembering that he had left his hat. He was good and cooled off now, though his mood was still kinda bad. The man ran his hand through his hair, not really paying attention and ran right into someone. He gasped and instinct lay reached out grabbing their, arm, not wanting to knock them over. They were already apologizing as he looked up at them. He saw it was the girl from earlier, and quickly let go of her arm, once she regained her balance. "No no, it was my fault... I should have Been paying more attention..." He said, rubbing his neck awkwardly. He averted his eyes, only to look back at her when she gave him his hat. He took it gently and sat it back atop his head "thanks... I was just about to get that..." He added, before nodding, beginning to walk away, but he stopped and looked at her
"Look... I'm sorry for yelling at you... My mare isn't that great around other people anymore, and I don't want anyone getting hurt on account of my horse. I can't afford a lawsuit and I'm sure it's bound to happen, knowing my luck... It took me forever to get her to trust me again and I don't want to break that..." He explained, not saying the full story as to why she went sour, just giving her enough to know why he got mad. "Besides, if she was injured, I don't know what I'd do with myself, she's the only family I got now..." He added, running another hand through his brown hair, blues eyes averting from the girl, hoping she wasn't too mad at him.
Crystal was surprised at Jason's reaction time. He had been able to catch her and she gave a shy smile and blush of embarrassment. "No problem," she murmured softly, about to go her own way awkwardly before he spoke again, causing her to stop her foot in place and swing it around so she was facing him again, listening with curiosity. She rubbed the back of her neck at the story, frowning softly. "I would never let my mother file a lawsuit against you. All sorts of injuries happen around horses and I understand that," she replied gently, nodding in understanding. "I know what you mean... my only family is back at my cabin. A cat I've had for nearly six years. She's like a daughter to me, as weird or crazy as that may sound. I mean, my mom is... my mom but she's a bit too overprotective," she replied softly, smiling gently, being very understanding. She then blinked and tilted her head before glancing her own eyes away. "So... are you an experienced rider then? You grew up around horses?" she asked, just a little curious as she glanced back towards Jason.
Quietly walking past the vacant stalls, Blake yawns into his hand. Getting up at 7 in the morning to escape his dad during his morning routine was really taking a toll on him. The soft thump of his leather boots against the concrete floor wasn't the only sound that met his ears that early morning. A soft clink of metal against metal and leather also reached his ears as a girl strolled by with a saddle in hand. But it was not the first time he had laid eyes on this girl; oh no he had seen her fiery attitude in action when Heather, his ex girlfriend, commented on her horse's figure only to end up with a bruised cheekbone.
Zamora silently watches as her master and best friend sends this strangely similar girl a glare that would frighten even the scariest person to oblivion. Trying to remember who this girl was was like trying to explain color to a blind man. She could never forget the look on Blake's face when he saw the girls fist retreat from Heathers face, leaving behind a slightly colored spot. Even Zamora was shaking in her boots for only the devil himself could take that glare like someone had just swat a mosquito.
Jason nodded and gave a small smile, thankful that she wouldn't let that happen. He sat his hat back atop his head, looking around a bit before looking back at Crystal. He had totally forgot that he had not introduced himself yet, and felt so rude "please excuse my rudeness, I completely forgot ask your name. I'm Jason." He said, extending his hand. He listened to her next question, shaking her hand gently, but firmly. He nodded "Yes, my family owned a small cattle farm, but we kept a few horses too, to help sort the cattle when they needed to be. I've had lark since she was a foal and she was actually born from one of my Father's mares." He explained. After he began talking about Lark, it wasn't so awkward anymore. It was a good feeling.
