Memphis watched the waves. "So you stay in the water, all the time? If you came out, you could paint on real paper and such." He said. He didn't know anything about fish anthros- maybe they couldn't get out of the water.

Clay frowned at the fox, then nodded to Thorn. "I took care of her when she was a pup." She said, cautious. Bridge had a bad reputation of pouncing at people playfully. She wasn't big, but she was strong, that little fox. "Sometimes when I raise animals, they don't want to leave. Bridge seems to like the forest fine, but she almost always finds me when I come into it. I should have been prepared." She couldn't help but smile, because she really liked the fox. "She'll probably walk with us. Is that okay?"

Bakarne nodded "I grew up in the Sea, I can come out of water, but I do love the water. So I'm nearly always in it." She glanced back down at her feet, then she realised that she could see her feet, she'd been able to see her body for the past few minutes! She'd only just noticed just how clear the water was, meaning that Memphis would be able to see her fully, quite clearly.
