I'm worried too. They obviously won't take their mothers death lightly and they will probably be very, very, very mad at Mike for doing that... so they will most likely try and kill Mike.

Lol same! They didn't just bring up Max's old boyfriend for no reason.
Also, in the beginning of Season 2 episode 4, Max said she wished her ex-boyfriend was more "angrier" which I think the producers set up on purpose given that Mike is an extremely troubled and hotheaded guy.
