Either the forest was getting denser over time or he was just getting lazier. The young male Thoughtlessly pushed a strand of lavender hair out of his eyes, taking deep strides down the dirt path. He was rather cheerful today and it showed across his expression. His new companion, whom he didn't have a name for quite yet, was wrapped around his neck. The ferret was content just resting there as if oblivious to the world. It would occasionally perk its head up to look around but that was it. As far as pets go ferrets were supposed to be hyperactive, or so he was told. Still he didn't mind it and actually enjoyed the company. If anything the animal was like a tiny scarf. He smiled as his imagination took off with that idea. For once he didn't mind taking the journey to the tree house. Normally he would meet up with the rest of his friends to discuss rather depressing events. Today was a little different for him. He had caught wind that, including him, all his friends decided to acquire new pets. Reaching up with one hand he scratched the small ferret on the head, gently of course. This was his first ever pet and he was worried that it would have run away the first chance it got. However it didn't leave his neck for a moment so he figured it was pretty laid back. After a while of walking he reached his destination. Every time he saw it he thought it grew in size but the tree house never really changed. He climbed up the ladder, careful not to let his new friend fall. When he entered he was shocked to see that there was already a few of his friends there. On top of that there was also quite a few new faces, all animals. His smile was now in full bloom as he took a seat next to Loke. He turned to the other male and gave a curious stare at the boy's pet. "A fox huh? She looks just as lively as you do."

Natsumi snapped out of her thoughts, standing straight as she began to purr. She was obviously enjoying the feeling, pushing her head forward for more. That was until a some other people came in, and she looked at them with curiosity. Her ears twitched as she took a few steps closer to her owner, Katsu's, feet. She knew these other creatures were angels, and she wondered if they could understand her. How did they die? Can they also shapeshift into humans? What if they're not angels, just normal animals? Her mind was whirling about as she began to topple to the side again. Right as she was about to fall, someone new came in. With a ferret around their neck. Silently, she stared at the ferret, ignoring everything around her. Natsumi tilted her head curiously, taking one step forward. She stopped when the boy with the ferret sat down, then went back to her previous place. She looked up at her owner, mewing as she pawed him softly. Since his friends were here, she figured she wouldn't get attention because he would be too busy chatting with his friends. She hissed at the thought, looking away from Katsu. She sat down, not daring to look back at him. She was sure he was confused as to why she was acting this way, but she figured he should find out on his own. Then again, he didn't know her personality too well, he did only have her for a day or two.

Chikako glanced around the tree house and it's occupants curiously. She and her friends
were called upon to meet up at the area and have a discussion about the mysterious
pets that appeared suddenly at the same time in their lives. The pet she had found was
a dapper black wolf yet he had an intimidating aura about him. She found it interesting,
and in all the short time she had him as her pet, she found herself growing attached to
him at a quick pace. Though that may be, she had not named him yet. Currently there
was Takuya with a ferret, Loke with a fox, and Katsu with a cat. Unconsciously, she
reached for her pet's head and stroked it gently, her thoughts jumbled up on how she
could start a conversation on the subject of their pets.
She gave a muted sigh of relief when Takuya spoke up. An adoring smile grew on her
face as she turned her attention to the fox that sat beside Loke. "She's so cute too."
Chikako had always been an animal lover of all sorts and she was raised with all
different types of pets growing up. The fox was no different from stealing her heart,
just like all the other animals she had came to known.

Not long ago, Kohaku had taken in a lovely German Shepherd dog who was at her side every day. He vanished every once and a while, but always returned; she took note of the strange aura surrounding him but overall he was a very protective, loyal dog. The last thing she would ever suspect was that he was an angel. Right now she was walking along absentmindedly, kicking a rock as she went and staring at the ground: she was headed to the treehouse, where her other friends would be.

Not a moment later, a sudden impact on her legs almost had her tumbling over. "Hello, pup," she greeted him with a happy tone, patting his head. She still hadn't found an actual name for him but always found herself calling him names like 'pup' or 'dog' or basic names of the sort. "We're almost to the treehouse; don't you worry your pretty little head." She actually found herself becoming attached to the animal and was glad she was his owner. She wished she knew where he went to randomly during the day or in the middle of the night, though.

Once they were finally at the treehouse, the redheaded female helped her pet up first with quite a few slip-ups, and followed him up the ladder. "Sorry I'm late, guys!" she exclaimed rather cheerfully though with an apologetic tone clinging to her words. "And sorry pup here takes up so much space. He's got a lot of spunk in him for such a big dog." Well, while he wasn't exactly bouncing around like a puppy, he wasn't an apathetic pet either. Kohaku took a seat on the floor, leaning against the wall, and gestured for the dog to come closer so he wouldn't take up too much space in the treehouse.

Yukio Okumura looked around to see everyone talking. Who should he talk to? He growled impatiently swishing his tail and sitting down. Yukio nudged his humans hand whining. She seemed to be looking at the other animals. He tried to look for someone closest to him and spotting a German Shepherd he wagged his tail. wolf, dog not too far apart. he padded over looking the dog straight in the eye. Stepping back he bumped right into someone, the dogs owner. He didn't like this many people in one room. Yukio opened his mouth to apologize then shut it quickly. Your not even a minuet in and you already almost talked? Yukio scolded himself looking up at the girl and whined trying to show some sort of way to apologize. How long will he last knowing that he can't apologize? He growled frustrated with himself then turned back to the German Shepherd and barked trying to find someone way talk to him outside maybe Yukio could learn a little more from him.

"Shut your trap guys," he moaned and pushed his glasses up his nose with one finger. "I'm not in the mood right now to joke." His eyes were closed until he felt something soft on him. Opening his eyes, he saw the little fox and started to pet behind her ears. "Hey, I thought I had lost you," he mumbled to her softly and started to pet her entire body. Her fur was silky to the touch. "I should find a name for you," he thought and looked around at the others. He closed his eyes again and didn't care if he fell asleep this time, as long as someone woke him up when everyone was finally here.
Not long after Kohaku came in with a German Shepard and said something. He didn't quite catch it, due to being so tired but the tree house seemed to be getting crammed. Maybe his idea was a bad idea.

The dog sat down near his person. He would do anything to get out of this retched form, but he had to for a while. He was one to much rather sit in his human form and be told what to do by Kohaku and annoy all the other angels, especially Yukio. That angel was to mature and made Lyon want to just make him like his father, but that aside. Looking around, he saw that just about all the angels were here. He was probably the only one to remember them all. He could recognize by the way they all acted. Seeing the black wolf come over to him, he stood up and licked Kohaku's hand. He then walked out of the door, hoping the larger dog was following him. for being annoying the Virgo sure was smart. He didn't know how to talk as a dog, but if they got far enough away maybe they would be able to turn into humans and talk that way.

The treehouse was a mess. At least, it was to him. Noisy. Loud. Filled with people. Like the lonesome raven he was, he chose a much different perch, settling on a sturdy branch high up on the outside of the tree. Obsidian eyes searched for Maiko. Where was she? It was only natural as an angel for him to feel it his duty to look after her. What with subtle traces of demons beginning to hop up here and there. He shook his head, feathers ruffling as he glanced back down to the treehouse. It seemed the others were in something of a daze, perhaps a little confused.

Ever since Kira found himself in this new form as a guardian, he'd done a lot of thinking. He figured out how to communicate already. With angels and other ravens. It was nothing more than a mind game. But now, he didn't feel like talking much, so instead he let his watchful eyes travel upwards, studying the skies as a gentle breeze ruffled his layers of black feathers.

Compared to everyone else, Katsu felt normal with his pretty little cat, whom he still needed to think of a name for. She seemed to not like something as she batted at his hand, hissed, and slumped down, refusing to look at him. Wondering what she was currently upset with he carefully picked her up and gently sat her in his lap, petting her head with slight caution in case she was mad at him. He figured she would probably just leave again, but if it was him that she was mad at he at least wanted to get back on her good side.

Yukari looked around the room, appreciating the compliments that came her way. She wished that she could thank the kind girl with the wolf at her side, another angel, but sadly she could not. As Loke pet her she let out some type of purr as thanks then returned to looking around the room and studying the faces of the other humans, as well as the angels. Her next move would be trying to communicate, she hadn't tried it yet but she needed to look natural. Then again she wasn't sure what kind of animals foxes interacted with, a fox was part of the canine family, but had many things in common with cats, she knew that much.

Yukio Okumura watched the German Shepherd turn around. He looked over to see if there was anyone else he could have come with him, the more the better. Yukio padded over to a fox and growled but not in a threatening way. An easier go about it would be barking but wolves didn't bark. Waving his tail was his only way to tell her to follow. Yukio caught up with the German Shepherd jumping out of the tree house. He made sure to walk behind the dog. His eyes narrowed as they looked for a safe place to talk. When they got far enough he carefully spoke in a quiet whisper. "Do you know of a safe place to talk? I don't want to walk on four leg any longer." he muttered catching up and finally walking beside him. Yukio could tell their relationship was already tight but they both wanted to know a little more so it was worth the trip. he looked back to see if the fox was following.
