It's not just the style that I dislike about it, but so far it's been kinda... boring. The only moments I like are the ones in which a character from the old series appears. Also, I don't like the new main characters, compared to the Soul Eater characters, they are so boring...

It is really different. (I've only read the manga) I think it's because there's not all this crazy action happening and it's a bit more slice of life-y

Yeah, that's one of the reasons I dislike it... I loved Soul Eater mainly for the action and weirdness, slice of life isn't really my thing...

I'm the opposite. after watching a few major animes I started drifting into smaller genres. Soul eater is still one of my favorites though.

I must agree with you, it is boring. It has it moments but eh mostly boring. I noticed that I didn't bother watching whole episode and skipped every now and then 5 mins -.-'
