She swatted a bug with her tail, slightly chilled by the cooler air blowing past. She continued to groom Tarkan's mane, feeling safer now that she was part of a herd. The one thing in the back of her mind that worried her, was that she knew Tarkan's herd would grow, and once it did, it would be harder for him to protect. And once she had been pregnant for longer, she would be the perfect target, not being able to protect herself as well. She ignored this fact as she lowered her head to graze again.

"Breeze." Whisper replied. She flicked her ears and nuzzled him again before nudged her goal towards the center of the herd. She lowered her head and began to graze.

Breeze stopped once her mother had stopped and wagged her fluffy tail. She looked at the ground, inspecting a beetle. She whinnied happily as it let out a buzzing nose ad nosed it. When she lifted her muzzle the black beetle lay on her nose. She stared at it before snorting and shaking her head, the beetle flying off her muzzle.

[Dark Moon]

Winter's Mystery:
Mystery trotted up to Astria. "Can you show me how to canter?" She asked quietly. She had mastered walking and trotting, but those were boring and she wanted to go faster. "And how to gallop?"

"Of course!" Astria was proud that Mystery wanted her to be the one to show her. With a happy nicker, she first demonstrated cantering to the filly and then galloping. She glanced over at Whisper, pricking her ears to see the mare had returned with another filly. Another friend to play with!

[Blumenkranz]

"That's a lovely name." Pride commented as he studied Breeze curiously. She was a pretty as healthy looking filly, Pride would do what he could to keep her safe. He looked to where Astria and Mystery, and he could see that Astria had spotted Breeze. He trend his attention to the newborn filly and he reached out to her, ears pricked as he sniffed the foal.

[Over the Moon]

Mystery:
"Like this?" Mystery asked as she began an awkward canter. "Wait up, Astria!" Mystery slowed to a trot, not quite confident enough to canter more than a few steps yet.
Blu:
Blu smiled. "That's a very pretty name. It's nice to meet you, Echo." Blu sniffed Echo's muzzle, memorizing the mare's scent. She bumped muzzles with Echo. She pulled back, watching Mystery as Echo watched the herd. She turned back to Echo. "Do you think you'll foal soon?"

"It's nice to meet you too" Echo smiled at the pretty roan mare. She watches the foals play, remembering that she was soon to foal. She looked at Blu and nodded, "I should be foaling any day now. I'm so excited, this will be my first foal." she laid her ears back, in a relaxed way. "Do have any foals?" she asked, wondering if any of the foals playing were hers.

[Dark Moon]

Astria nodded and slowed just enough so she could catch up. "Come on, keep trying!" The filly urged, her ears flicking.

Breeze flicked her ears and looked over at Astria and Mystery. She stumbled over to the other fillies and tried to say hello, but the filly had not yet found her voice. She tried it out and said in a high pitched voice, "my... name... is.. Breeze."

Whisper grazed silently, keeping one eye on her filly. The mare pricked her ears when her filly started to speak and she smiled. She then turned back to grazing and let her filly meet her half-sisters.

[Dark Moon]

Astria looked at the filly and procked her ears. "Hi!" She said. "My name's Astria and this is Mystery. Nice to meet you!" Astria boldly extended her neck to sniff her.

Breeze nodded. She stretched her neck out as well and sniffed the other filly. She snorted and then walked up to her. She wagged her fluffy tail.

Hope called out to any stallion nearby. She needed the protection. It was almost winter so she really did need one. She kept her ears pricked and was alert for any stallion.
