Blackdawn greeted her daughter with a dip of her head, "Welcome, Smallflame."

Spiritstar finally arrived at moonstone, a thick new scar across her right eye. She stepped inside the dark cave of mothermouth, using her whiskers to guide her to the stone. Her jaws parted as she scented the air

Spiritstar stalked through the melted snow as night fell upon NightClan's territory. Eventually, she crossed to the highstones and up she went, the old leader sprang up the rocks with ease, although once getting towards the top struggling a bit with the littler rocks. Sharp rocks scattered the ground so she had to be careful.

*skip to mothermouth*

Spiritstar stared at the creepy, gaping cave and slowly entered the dark shadow that it cast. The moon was now high in the sky as she found her way to the moonstone. She was just going to touch her nose to it when she felt a tail rest on her shoulder. She turned around to face the much bigger cat.

The cat circled Spiritstar "miss me much?" She cackled and drew her tail along the leader's chin.

Spiritstar stood with narrowed eyes, "what do you want with me?"

"Nothing much," it said.

Spiritstar groaned, "I'm not up for one of your games."

"Why not?"

Spiritstar snarled and leaped at her, tackling her to the floor, both paws at her belly as she lifted one to slice down her belly but was kicked off. She hit the wall as the large cat took it's claws and scratched hard at the top of her belly. She then bit hard into Spiritstar's paw as the noble cat then took at her eye, ripping sideways as the cat shrieked. "Thornstar you coward, hiding for so many moons. Why? Scared of your own clan?"

She growled and clawed Spiritstar's throat

Spiritstar let out a yowl of pain as her throat was sliced, as Thornstar tried again, she retreated, running blindly through mothermouth. Once she reached the outside world she leaped through highstones, loosing her footing, she fell banging her head against a large rock, and flipping over, smacking the ground in a whirl of dust.



(Should I eventually make Russetstar come back to NC? Or maybe fight for their side during the battle? XD just an idea)
