Page looked up to see her stallion leave for another mare. The elderly mare took a deep breath and looked around, she was now the eldest mare in the herd, but she personally didn't mind. She could live to about 18, 19, and she would be lead until then, at that age, if she was healthy she could still have foals, but there was a 50/50 chance of dying during birth. Ears pricked forwards she swished her tail and then grazed silently, she was about stage 2 of her heat, because it was pride, if he asked she'd probaly accept, if it were another stallion she'd kick. But she'd been with pride for years now, her colt, Bolt's Triumph had left his bachelor herd now and was trying to gain a herd, he was now 4 years old. Smiling she gave a soft sigh looking to the clouds, Deep down she still missed Bolt. She didn't let it show though, ears flicking the white dapple mare lowered her nose to the ground.

Tarkan stretched his muzzle out to calm her before nuzzling her and grooming her in return, quite content about it for he enjoyed being groomed, it was a nice feeling, the rare few horses disliked being groomed, Ears pulled forwards, he swishded his tail pulling out the few bits of grass and leaves from the mares mane and coat.

Soul watched as her stallion asked but something caught his attention, a mare, he instantly walked off, she didn't fuss about it though, she knew he'd be back in time, Ears pricked forwards he then grazed.

Ace reared up and then stopped. Now toying with the human. The large male showed that he was giving up, and the dumb human being jumped from his horse rope still around his horses saddle as he came towards the large stallion another rope in hand, hopes to create a halter with it. As the human grew to close the large male pinned his ears and lunged, biting the humans arm hard, the taste of blood lingering on his tounge. The humans screech's startled him but he didn't let go, when the human slapped him with the rope he released and reared up slamming his hooves down before bolting at first the other horse followed, but as the rope slipped he took off in another direction leaving Ace to find his herd. He whinnied loudly bucking as he galloped along chasing his herds scent.

Phantom grazed quietly, he then shook out his mane and looked around. The clydey x Shire stallion looked around before spotting a herd. (can be any herd, just stirring up drama) the large male smirked briefly and slowly walked his way down to the mares ignoring the stallion.

Firesong snorted and flicked her tail, wafting her scent. She nibbled at the stubby stalks of grass, and her ears swivelled, catching snippets of sound. She flared her nostrils and swatted the flies away with her tail.

Echo bobbed her head up and down as she snorted. "You too" She murmured in response. The mare flicked her ears as she alertly listened for danger. "My previous stallion was caught by wranglers. I was the only mare in his herd, so I couldn't create a band of mares." she stated, beginning to study Pride. She examined him as she spoke, perking her ears in approval, as he seemed experienced and strong.

(Sorry I didn't see this) (of course! But as Triumph is around Garry's age he should be around 2-3 years old)

"I see." Pride stated simply, glancing back to where his mares and foals were before turning his attention to Echo. She was a nice mare, and the tobiano decided to ask if she would like to join him. "Well Echo," he took a small step forward and gave the mare a small nudge with his nose "Would you like to join me?"

As Asuna and her fillies moved with the rest of the band, her ear flicked when she heard a whinny in the distance. Was it Ace? She hoped it was though was a bit hesitant. What if it wasn't the dark Friesan stallion? What if it was someone else? She stayed silent as they moved through the forest for several moments, but then she decided to reply. She let out a loud whinny, calling out to whoever had whinnied.

Echo looked at a group of mares and foals in the distance, whom she guessed was his herd. Echo nodded, glad that she had a herd now. She was a pregnant mare, whom would be in a lot of danger once the colder seasons settled in. Plus, this stallion would protect her, and get unborn foal. The mare bumped her muzzle against his chest before walking towards his herd, ears perked.

Pride gave Echo a small nudge with his nose, glad that the mare decided to join him. He turned and walked after her, tail flicking as he followed her over to where the rest of his herd was. He had several mares and foals, and soon their would be more foals in his herd. He wasn't old but he wasn't young either, and he was going to protect his family from anything that would try to harm them. Once he reached the rest of his mares he finally slowed to a halt, giving Echo another small nudge before looking to the other mares.

Thunder charged through the forest, not slowing until they were deeper inside the forest and he could no longer hear the wranglers behind him. He was tired and was panting heavily as he moved into a trot, his ears flicking back and forth nervously. He checked their surroundings, Blue was still somewhere behind him which made him happy though he didn't see the mare that he had seen earlier, did he get captured? He hoped that she didn't, he didn't think that any horse deserved to be captured and taken away from wranglers. After trotting for about a minute he slowed to a walk. As he walked he turned his head slightly to look at Blue, one ear flicked towards the mare as he nickered to her.

Sparks lifted her head up at the whinny. The mare stood still, stopping the herd. She pinned her ears and slowly lead the herd towards the sound. The forest casted shadows everywhere. The gloomy area made it hard to see what was approaching. When a large, black shadow appeared the mare broke into a canter. She spread out in a slow gallop, more eager than ever to see him. The sabino galloped right up next to him and nuzzled his chest. She moved over to the side, allowing everyone else to see Ace. Her tail flicked, spreading her slowly fading heat scent. She had wanted Ace to cover her a while ago but that could wait untill later.

As his herd's scent grew stronger the stallion sped up and then entered the forrest making her way to the herd nickering softly to Asuna when he spotted her and then again to Sparks cantering past the herd before bucking and turning back circling around the herd and nuzzling his mares happily. Smiling at Sparks nickering softly walking up to her and nuzzling her, thanking her for getting the herd to saftey smiling at her gently ears pricked forwards ignoring the scent of his mare, seeing it wasn't important right this moment.

Winter's Mystery:
Mystery smiled up at her father. "Okay, thanks! Can you-" She broke off as a fat mare approached Pride and started grooming him. Mystery deflated a bit, not really used to the idea of sharing her father. Her mood brighten almost immediately, however, when the pinto filly invited her to play. "Okay!" She struggled to her feet and shakily followed the filly. "Wait up!" She called out, stumbling after her new friend.

Blu:
Blu raised her head, realizing Pride had returned. She noticed a heavily pregnant mare just behind him. After making sure Mystery was still playing with Astria, Blu walked over to greet the mare. She stopped in front of the pretty paint mare, noting that Echo was several hands higher than herself and probably older. Blu decided not to challenge the mare, she'd leave that to Page. Instead, she looked up with a friendly nicker, deciding to be friends. "Hello! I'm Blue Moon, but you can call me Blu if you wish."

Astria glanced back and slowed slightly. She could tell that the filly wasn't used to running, but she'd soon get used to it. "Come on!" She called as she continued to run.
