My parents bought me and my brother each a late Easter gift today.
I got some decent colored pencils! 72 colors {two sets of 36 colors,}
They're pre-sharped water color pencils made with high-quality pigments. ♡
I really needed these. I have few colored pencils, and they're low quality stuff.
Now I can start making some colored drawings. ♡

My godmother came over and we had a hot dog roast. cx Seeing her do so well after her stroke late last year, and just... determinedly sass out all of her therapists and doctors as they wonder how on earth she's doing what she's doing instead of giving up... it's inspiring. It's what I needed to boost my spirits from a week-long slog of job applications that have gone nowhere so far. <3

Also, I think I made her proud, by telling her stories of how I tempered horribly bratty kids when I was little. She trained me well, the clever woman. xD <3 I give my mother a lot of credit, but it was my godmother who added that bit of hilarious spice in my mix.
