Gahhhh it's just a great song period. Like even if I disliked DRRR the song would still be so catchy ~

If we're talking about openings though, nothing gets me more pumped than Tiger and Bunny's "Orion Wo Nazoru"

Speaking of which, I really wish there were a bigger fanbase of T&B on CS but I guess since the main characters are adults with a small handful of exceptions, I understand why it's not as appealing on here as it is on other sites I frequent. T_T

My favourite anime Opening is definitely Durarara!!! Opening 1, I mean... I learnt it after about four episodes. Then Black Butler Opening 2, Sword Art Online opening 1, Junjou Romantica opening 1.... So many good openings~!

I loved 'Trust Me'! The English made it easier ^^'

@ Hasuki - - - It is about the distant future of our world, where some genetic mutation has lead to some of the population having powers. Most of the people get terrible powers, like the ability to grow hair really fast or sweat profusely, but the people who get rad powers are drafted into super hero leagues. These super heroes are televised on HeroTV and given points based on how they perform. Every season there is a King of Heroes title, and that Hero gets the biggest fanbase and press coverage. Every Hero is sponsored by companies, kind of like NASCAR, and these companies are real (the real world companies auctioned on characters) -Pepsi, Domino's Pizza, Bandai, etc.

K that's the backstory. The anime is about one of these top league heroes (Wild Tiger) who has been pretty washed up in recent years, so his sponsor company is bought out by a bigger company, and they team him up with the brand new hottie hero Barnaby Brooks Jr. Tiger has a really good heart and is in this for the right reasons, while everyone else is doing it for the fame and fortune.

There's no romance, unless you count Wild Tiger's love for his passed wife or the unrequited love one of the teenage heroes has for Wild Tiger that she expresses by being a tsundere jerk. There is a lot of bromance though between Tiger and Barnaby - you can interpret that as you will, the creators have said.

Sorry that wasnt breif at all but I wanted to explain the backstory part too. XD

I like JR's Opening as well. It's a calmer one compared to others, but it fits the anime.
I like the Detective Conan opening, especially opening 28 (As The Dew) and 32 (Misty Mystery) as well as ending 35 (Hello MR. My Yesterday), but I have many openings I like.

what's some good magical girl anime? not just "SOMEHOW WE GOT MAGICAL POWERS LETS SAVE THE DAY" one with character development, drama and maybe some deaths? also I've already seen puella magi madoka magica, before you recommend that.

Futari wa Precure (49, comedy fantasy magical girl)
Nagisa Misumi and Honoka Yukishiro couldn't be more different. Nagisa is sporty and Honoka bookish, and while they attend the same school, they have very little in common—until one day, a shower of shooting stars brings two very unlikely visitors into their lives: Mipple and Mepple, refugees from the Garden of Light, which has been conquered by Darkness. Endowed with new and startling powers, Nagisa and Honoka become Cure Black and Cure White, magical defenders of the light—together, they are Pretty Cure. (myanimelist)

=> I like the fights and their daily life situations.
(there are also sequels, but I didn't watch them yet)

pretty cure amv - dynamite

Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne (44, comedy magical girl romance shoujo)
A normal looking high school girl on the outside, Kusakabe Maron is actually the reincarnation of Jeanne d' Arc. With the help of the angel, Fin Fish, Maron works as the thief Jeanne at night to seal the demons that reside in pieces of artwork, preying upon the weak hearts of the owners. She is branded as a thief due to the fact that the artworks disappear after she seals the demons. One day, a new neighbor and classmate appears, as well as a rival in her night job, the thief Sinbad. With her own best friend being the detective's daughter, out to capture her and the appearance of her new rival, Maron's work is anything but easy. (myanimelist)

=> Interesting characters and some drama

Mermaid Melody (52, magic magical girl romance shoujo)
As the mermaid princess of the North Pacific (one of the seven mermaid kingdoms), Lucia entrusts a magical pearl to a boy who falls overboard a ship one night. Lucia must travel to the human world to reclaim her pearl and protect the mermaid kingdoms. Using the power of music Lucia is able to protect herself and the mermaid kingdoms from a growing evil force. (myanimelist)

=> more light-hearted, but I like the main girls and their romance stories

Mermaid Melody *Butterfly*

My sister used to really like Sailor Moon
Tsukino Usagi is a 14-year-old girl in junior high. She's ditzy, whiny, and a crybaby. She often flunks her tests, and she is always scolded by her family. However after a bad day, Usagi is surprised to encounter a black cat that can talk! The cat, Luna, grants Usagi the power to transform into Sailor Moon, a fighter who is to save the world against the Dark Kingdom and its evil ruler, Queen Beryl.

Of course, Usagi can't do it alone, and there are others who will help her on the way... (myanimelist.net)

Also, is there such thing as an English subbed version of FMAB OP2? Not the full song, just the opening.

Are there more lovers of detective (anime)? I'm at the moment reading/watching detective Conan, but I'm not very far...
Does anyone know a mystery/detective/horror anime that isn't very long? Ihave already seen Dangan Ronpa, Gosick and Another, but I want to know if there are more good anime in these genres.
I love chocolate. That's all. No need for this thing to be longer.

Well... here's the horror anime list on Kissanime. Enjoy?

I have Busou Renkin bookmarked now, but I haven't watched it. Should I? Is it good? From what I know, it's a bit like Fullmetal Alchemist, "a bit like" meaning "it has alchemy in it". And apparently resurrection actually works in BR!

I love Detective Conan, but I'm still stuck around episode 600, but scmarshtacky is more up to date.
I also love Majin Tantei Nogami Neuro.
There are also Shinrei Tantei Yakumo and The Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok (which I didn't watch myself yet)
and the great manga Keishichou Tokuhanka 007.

Thanks, I will consider Busou Renkin then, but thanks to that website, I saw that there is a english dub of Another now, so I think I'm gonna watch that first. It makes me get excited for the upcoming season two, which should come in 2015. And i saw that there is a lot more anime with my favourite genres, so I will not run out of anime for the next few years :D
