Naira nodded her the command and she poked Valgus on the way out. It make have seemed like a friendly poke, but it was to gain a temporary shadow ability. After she exited the church, she set up a dome ward and put an extra layer around the church itself. Since she wasn't that powerful, she summoned 3 of the new guards to help her hold it up.

Valgus

He nodded, and made his way to the rest of the new guards. He studied each one, and then flashed a soul-chilling grin. "We need an elite group to help keep the commander safe. Any one care to fight me, and prove that you're at least better than a young demon?" A couple of the fallen angels looked tense, before moving forward in a flurry of feathers and movement. Valgus smirked, and their trials began. He could fend most of them off, they weren't used to his fighting style, but those that managed to deal a blow and wound him were pulled aside. By the time he was done, he had found an elite 6, and sent them to make sure that Alvira's location stayed safe.

"I'm guessing that Valgus sent you guys to protect me? He's getting better t thinking things through." She said as the 6 elite soldiers arrived at her position. "I can also feel Naira's barrier, it's pretty strong. Lets see how it hold up against an army of angels." Alvira said, leaning back and waiting for the angels to arrive at her cathedral.

A piece of steak began to hover from the cafeteria outside to Naira. It probably startled everyone on the way to her. She delightedly ate it while holding up the ward. The complete strength returned to her and the ward grew thinker and more stealth. To angels, that is. Using her arcane eye, she looked to the kiln in the cafeteria and pulled another steak out. Not for herself, of course. She wrote a note on the paper plate the steak was on, and Naira directed it to Alvira. The note said, "Try it. It won't kill you to try some of my choice cut, now will it?" Naira held it in front of Alvira and had the eye next to her to see if Alvira would try some.

Alvira
Alvira smelled the piece of steak before she saw it, and wrinkled her nose. "Human food, disgusting. I am the daughter of the original Demon, I will not put that into my body. Think about it for a second, what do you think that I, daughter of the Devil, would survive off of? Go ahead, I'll give you three guesses." She said, giving the eye that Naira had summoned a death stare.

"Pain of others, suffering of others, or energy of others?" Naira asked through the eye in the form of a note. "You should at least try it, Commander. I did well on the marinade. I added some seasons from the plants only found deep in Hell.:

"Smart girl, you are correct on all three. However there is a preferred method I have for attaining those things They call me the mother of a certain terrifying species, but I deny it." She laughed. "Nope, I will never try any human food, just like my Father I am above it all." Alvira stated.

"Suit yourself, Commander. More thousand for Valgus and I," Naira replied. She shifted the steak to Valgus and summoned a note saying, "Happy Birthday. Alvira didn't want it."

Valgus

He got the steak and laughed. He ate it, then resumed his training. He thought about the best way to organize a fight against the angels. He stroked the feathers that hung around his neck, and grinned. Something that feathered things didn't like? Webs and nets. He walked to Naira. "I have an idea when it comes to fighting the angels. Could we spin some of he combined power into a net? It'll be more likely to trip them up."

"From past experience, angels hate butterfly nets. I can-" Naira paused and looked up. In the distance was a hoard of angels headed this way, "INCOMING!" Naira bound a net to the ward. "Get the legionares," Naira told Valgus, "And tell Alvira Michael has returned."
