Wow.... That is rhyming! I never can write a poem that rhymes.

I want to share this poem to everyone, but this is not mine!!!

Mowing

There was never a sound beside the woods but one,
And that was my lang scythe whispering to the ground.
What was it it whispered? I knew not well myself.
Perhaps it was something about the heat of the sun
Something, perhaps about the lack of the sound.
And that was why it whispered and did not speak.
It was no dream of the gift of idle hours,
Or easy gold at the hand of fat and elf.
Anything more than the truth would have seemed to much.
To the earnest love that laid the swale in rows
Not without feeble-pointed spikes of flowers,(pale orchises) and scared a bright green snake.
The fact is the sweetest dream that labour knows,
My scythe whispered and did not speak.

we celebrate mother's day,
the grass gets greener,
the air gets cleaner.
The flowers start to grow,
no more snow.
Winter is gone,
get up and mow your lawn

This is the poem I came up with for the contest thing. How is it?

The paper white on the bathroom sink.
He walks away, pain coursing through.
A look at the pictures behind the chair,
A turn, to the pictures on the wall.
A family, a legacy,
It’s been a while, but they all are there.
His heart is heavy,
Heart is full.
The pain unbearable as he sits,
It’s been a long winter,
The clock has been waiting,
The timer ticking.
Clock chimes one,
Darkness prevails.
Clock chimes five,
The note is ripped before she sees.
He made it one more day,
Life is tough, but he won’t break.

Most of you here don't know that I was born in São Paulo, São Paulo, Brazil.
I was browsing YouTube and I found a video about a homeless man in São Paulo that writes poetry.
It was really touching to me, because I know how things are back home and he is so hopeful...
