Well after a long mental conversation with myself, I plucked up the courage to talk the girl who was now waiting behind me. "Oh, sorry, I'm not in the cue!" I said to her moving to the side making a clear pathway to the cashier. Only then did i admire her beauty, Her sea blue eyes, and beautiful black hair... I realised that I was just looking at her and I walked away behind one of the shelves and blushed- ashamed of myself for staring. 'But she is so beautiful! Go talk to herrr!' Is exactly what my mind was convincing me to do. I waited until she had bought her items before attempting to talk to her again.

The cute guy tuned around and said something to her. "Oh, it's ok" Katie told the cute guy that told her he wasn't waiting when she seen him buying stuff. Katie bought her stuff then walked over to the guy "hi, I'm Katie" she introduced herself. She was blushing knowing that she saw him looking at her, boys don't usually even notice her.

For a couple of minutes I just looked- not even speaking- just taking in the fact that she spoke to me. "Sorry about that, I-, well- .... uhm..." I didn't really know what to say and at that moment I was blushing so much that you wouldn't be able to tell the difference between my face and a tomato. "I-I'm Daniel- or Dan. It's nice to meet you Katie." I was chuffed that I actually spoke a whole sentence without stammering- I have never stammered before. I could tell she was thinking so I quickly slipped in a compliment to her; "Katie is a really nice name, I have never met anyone called Katie...Other than you." I smiled and avoided her beautiful eyes otherwise the whole tomato thing would happen again.

Katie giggled silently to herself, she saw that he was blushing"Nice to meet you Daniel/Dan" Katie said extending her hand for him to shake. "I'm not making you nervous am I?" Katie asked. "And thanks, I like yours to, do you prefer dan?" Katie asked with her hand still out.

I shook her hand, it was warm and smooth, I wanted to shake it forever, but if I held the shake for too long she might think of holding hands. All of sudden my phone 'dinged' and I quickly grabbed it- handily interrupting the handshake."excuse me- it's my mate" I told her as I read the message. It read;; 'Hey Dan, I'm in Starbucks, waiting for you to come, be here soon!' I put my phone back in my pocket and politely asked Katie; " My friend wants me to meet him in Starbucks- do you want to come?" I anxiously await an answer hoping it is a yes.
