Dapplefur bared her fangs at the badger, who was bleeding from a few different scratches. It wasn't terribly injured, but it was weakening. The beast took one last look at the cats and ran - or more lumbered - off into the forest. The tortie she-cat pointed one final hiss at it before it disappeared. She snorted proudly at their victory. Of course, patrols would have to be careful for now, but the immediate danger had passed.

Spottedpaw watched happily and proudly as the badger vanished into the thick mist. He immediately turned to Ravenflame. "You alright?" he asked. He cared about the tom and worried that his training would suffer because his mentor was injured.

Windfrost gazed at the mist where the badger had disappeared with interest. He quickly shook his head and turned back to Ravenflame. "We should get you back to camp," he said, a bit gently.
