I sneeze as a leaf falls against my nose

Mara blinks drowsily, "Good morning sunshine..." She said as sunlight warmed up her pelt. One of Mara's ears flopped forward and the other was straight up, She didn't really care that much.

I yawn and blink at the sudden light "mornin!" i get up and streach... im more confident today and im actually holding my tail in a dominant curl like a normal husky.

Mara stomach rumbled deeply, "We should get some food, I'm starving!" She announced stretching. Mara sat up and yawned, she hadn't felt this well rested in awhile.

I nod but i sit down and lick my side. i was kiscked really hard in the ribs yesterday and they hurt bad.

"You okay Laika?" Mara asked padding up to her.

I look up at her mid lick."Yeah im fine" i stand um with a wagging tail

"Good, I'm going to make a quick errand to the park Maybe the humans left some meat" Mara smiled climbing through the hole in the fence. "You can come if you'd like" Mara suggested wagging her tail.
