Seeing the kit stop in front of her, purring she got up and grabbed him. Ignoring his struggles she placed him by her side and started to groom him.

Silentkit looked down at the ball of moss, but was then taken up by Berryfrost and groomed. He bristled irritably, struggling to try and get away, but soon found he couldn't fight it and sulked in defeat, tailtip smacking against the ground in annoyance.

As she cleaned the kit she let her purr go to her stomach, hoping he would feel it and be comforted, at least stop the bristling.

He perked slightly, feeling a rumbling sensation surround him. His eyes glanced up at Berryfrost and Lightpaw as he searched for the source. But it did soothe him. Eventually he let himself calm down as he focused his attention to the rumbling and not on her grooming him.

(Silentkit gets all the girls. And... what? Featherstone wanted to talk to Arcticstar about what they should do with him. Because he's deaf, and cannot ever learn like them. How'd be become an apprentice?)
He blinked, looking down at the moss ball as it came to a stop at his paws. Fur twitching, he tossed the ball back, watching it as it rolled back to Lightpaw. He played this game with Rosepaw. He knew this game! He stopped when Arcticstar padded up to them, waving a mouse in front of him. He wasn't sure whether to play with it or not, so he watched it dangle in front of him before looking up at Arcticstar again.
