Hearing another cat, Featherstone released Silentkit from his hold and looked over towards Berryfrost.

Silentkit pushed him away, fur bristled. He really didn't like being toughed. And Featherstone was being way too emotional for him to try and understand him. He glared at him then looked over at Berryfrost and grinned, padding towards her. He looked around for Rosepaw, not seeing her, and looked back at Berryfrost.

Lightpaw padded up to Silentkit. "And where are you going?" she asked, slightly amused.

Sensing someone behind him, Silentkit turned, looking at the pale ginger-and-white tabby she-cat. He blinked at her, unable to understand what she said, tilting his head to the side.

She sighed, and bent down. "Where are you going?"

His large useless ears swiveled back and he inched away from her, uncomfortable. He was nearly the same height as her, old enough to become an apprentice. He averted his gaze, shifting his weight on his paws.

She purred, although he couldn't hear it. She then wrote something in the mud. 'Where are you going?'

Losing interest in this game the apprentice was playing with him, Silentkit rose to his paws. He leaned slightly, looking around the apprentice to Berryfrost, who was sunning herself, then returned his attention to Lightpaw. He was headed over to Berryfrost, but the she-cat looked to be comfortable. Then he remembered she'd groomed him, and he was slightly irritated with her for that. So he shook himself and sat back down, looking at his paws. He wanted to do something.
