"Only if you want to, but I think we're safe from now." Leonardo muttered against the skin of the zebra. "I'll warn you if they start to get to close." He added, digging into the zebra carcass. He kept his large paws on either side of it to maintain his grip on the fallen prey.

Kirhem nearly laughed in half despair and indignation, "You don't have to warn me, I can hear them, the drumming of their hooves," he explained, voice almost off the edge os patience. It got annoying to have lions underestimated you a lot of the time, but he didn't blame them. Still, he was glad for the company, and for now, he didn't feel much like a cast-away.

I walked slowly across the plain, carefully taking in my surroundings. I was quite bored, and when I saw Kapuki, I welcomed the distraction she would provided. I walked over to the younger female.

Kapuki quickly looked behind her at hearing someone heading her way, seeing it was Athena. She bounded towards her "Did you see that Athena, I totally scared that Butterfly away it won't be coming back in a hurry" Kapuki rubbed up against the Lioness legs "Are we going hunting soon??"

I chuckled at the little cub's story of a butterfly. "I hope we can go hunt soon, some extra food around here would be quite appreciated," I said with a smile.

Kirhem nodded, getting to his paws, he padded over and began tearing flesh off of the prey, eating steadily but hungrily. The flavors filled his mouth enticingly, and he took another bite. It was good to have someone to talk to, as he rarely met other lions. He stopped for a second, lapping scarlet blood from stained white fur in annoyance, he didn't enjoy being dirty.
