Doctor- You and manes. Soon I won't have a mane for you to play with! Anyway, what were we talking about? Oh, yes! Well it happens automatically whenever our bodies are in danger. If our cells are dying, if we have irreparable tissue damage, non-treatable illness, we regenerate. But it takes up a hell of a lot of energy, and you're never sure what you'll end up with.

"That's for sure. Bet you didn't see this one comming. Do you never even have the slightest idea of what you'll be like next?" Derpy asked.

"Ah, so it's just a massive gamble. Seems to have worked well for us" Amethyst said, leaving the Doctor and going into the storeroom.

Doctor- Good for some! Well, we always regenerate the same gender, species, same genetic makeup... but it seems that I regenerated as an Equine this time out of the blue. I still don't know why it happened, but it's definitely not normal. It might have to do with the parallel universe.

"Must do, otherwise that wouldn't make any sense" Derpy said. "You're not normal anyway" she said jokingly, ruffling the Doctor's mane.

"Who wants tea?" Amethyst called, taking out three mugs from one of the cupboards.

Doctor- I do! Don't forget the nut paste! Anyway, you say I'm not normal now, but I'll have you know I'm a prime example of a Time lord at his finest! *does a hair-flip*

"And me!" Derpy called back. "Yeah... sure... fatso" Derpy said jokingly, poking the Doctor's side.

"Got it" Amethyst said, boiling some water and getting the nut paste for the Doctor's tea, humming a tune.

Doctor- *ghasps in outrage* It's hard adjusting to the diet of a horse!
*walks into the store room* Hey.... what is that tune? I swear I've heard it before.

"You still don't eat properly" Derpy said. "You were having fish before, fish!"

"Huh? O, hello you! I don't know, just remember the tune" Amethyst said before continuing to hum. "If you get it, let me know, it's been bugging me for a while now"

Doctor- Isn't it.. that song, you know, off the telly. Um... DAMMIT! THE ONE FROM THE- THE- FLIPPING.. PANEL SHOW.

"Panel show? What do you mean panel show?" Derpy asked.

"I have no idea, tea, tea" Amethyst said, passing the others their tea and sitting down to have her own.
