well, it's easier and less time consuming to make shorter character forms, so the roleplay itself can start faster c:
Also, I'm not sure if it's just me, but I generally dislike making forms. I find that it's easier to develop your character through rping rather than writing out five-paragraph long things about their personality and history x3

Basically what boat said. Plus, my newfound obsession with coding means that I have less space to actually write [yeah I have my priorities wrong but I just love making things look prettyy].
you're looking at the forms on my rp aren't you

Not just yours sakorian rage! XD
I also partake in a little character stalking haha!

It helps me get ideas ^^ and ooh ahhh all the pretty forms!

It's not that I don't like it, I do. Like boat, I used to hate having to write out
long forms! x.x I agree, it's much nicer to develop the character through the roleplay.

out of pure curiosity, how many of you guys are also members of AS (Advanced Scribes)? just wanted to get an average percentage. I might start posting here more.

I was apart of AS but I found it P homophobic so never went back.

Guys, I'm so...intimidated by the rp boards nowadays. It's either a rp with six spots, something that dies before it starts or you make a thread and people send you amazing samples then only post three lines. I feel like I lose interest in everything so quickly. Anyone have some quick fixes to this? xD I'm not sure it can be cured easily but I figured I'd ask. Do I just need to get more strict about my threads? *so many questions*

Wait, those are new problems? ;p i could tack on quite a few other problems to that
As for advice, yeah, you just need to be more strict, that's the only way to be productive. <:

I only ever rp on AS c: I do just fine finding mxm or fxf partners. I'd say cs is wayyyy harder to find good partners and I find a lot people here more adverse to xm

This is just kinda aimed at no one in particular, but I find that there are two reasons that I prefer CS over AS:
1. there are no center/left/right buttons, and I mean it when I say that I rely on them
2. the group rps move at a pace that's too slow for me
I guess you'd have an easier time finding a semi-lit players there, but I just can't wait two weeks for a reply.

    ^ I agree with those!
I'm also on AS but barely ever log in.
    Same goes for RoleplayGateway (although
an RP of mine just moved there but that's
only because my RP partner can't come on
    CS any more).

It's never hard to find 1x1 partners for it, but I disliked the fact that if I went into random group rps people would have rules against homosexual relationships, even if it wasn't a romance based rp. I found that A LOT on AS, more so than CS. Whether or not it's changed I wouldn't know, I haven't been there since last year. And as Sakorian said, it was kinda slow. I didn't want to wait over a week to get a RP started (Probably because it didn't have many people on it at the time)

As a rule of thumb I never sign up to those kind of sites anymore.
