Behind the name:
As soon as I saw this girl (And to be blunt she was my favorite of two XP) I thought of Leonardi which is the feminine counterpart to Leonardo! And just like her Brother Michelangelo she'll be indirectly named to a TMNT ^^
Jay of cause came later when the competition was fully underway and I decided to hyphenate the two into a elegantly flowing name, Jay-Leonardi. Jay is also a name of one of my beloved human characters, and I believe Sunny was spot on in incorporating the name "Jay" for this bean, because like my Jay she has qualities of a Blue-Jay. In essence she will forever have her direct ancestry imprinted in her name, she's a bit of her Dad and her Mum.

Jay-Leonardi's nickname arose when she first learned her name, unable to wrap her fluffy muzzle around the long syllables she squeaked out Jayleo. The nickname has forever stuck.

Like a Bobcat Jayleo features sturdy back legs and is able to
leap to astonishing heights vertically, her climbing skills and
nimble body are perfect for her favorite activity of parkour.
Despite her smaller size she has a sturdy inner core and strength.

Weaknesses:

Her wrists are weaker then average giving her trouble when
holding onto something for long periods of time, her grip is also
affected being compromised to a degree. She has a weaker heart
inherited by her father and finds it racing when rarely putrefied.

Unruly, defiant, resolved and determined Jay-Leonardi knows what she wants
with certainty and isn’t one to sit on her butt fluff wishing for wishes she knows
she can reach, even at the young age she is. Others assume her rebellious streak
has been grafted from her Twin, who shares the same brash qualities. Either way
Jayleo’s bold behaviour is only implanted around Beans she finds unsavoury, if she
doesn’t like you she’ll defy your orders with impudence, her strong will able to
carry her unruly behavior till the other is forced to give up. In short she’s a bouncing
handful of fur.

As Jayleo ages these qualities will serve her well, she’ll have a drive to achieve her
goals, striving to touch the stars if she so desires and letting no Bean stand in her
way.Her rebellious streak will be subdued to a certain degree, especially around
those she dislikes but still present in way of smart remarks and a lashing tongue.
Her motivation is unrivaled when her mind is set and is put to good use defeating
her “enemies” and keeping her like natured brother from harm with his flirty,
recalcitrant personality.

Warm, gentle, calm and sincere Jayleo is a tender hearted bean, her affectionate
nature knows no bounds. She loves snuggles with her closest friends and relatives,
often climbing into their pouches and whistling a soothing melody, some say she’s
inherited Uncle Amir's compassion if it were possible. She is never lacking a consoling
word, being very observant she nearly always senses when someone needs a snuggly
huggle and will worm her way into their fur tickling until they can't breath from
laughter.

Her nurturing disposition evolves into a steady patience and a caring heart for
beans she deems deserve her company, and thanks to Amir's childish,
imaginative ways she's devoted to leaving time to care for herself as well as
playing with younger beans. Her generosity and sharing nature blossoms into a
sweet side to her disposition, it's not uncommon for her to give away her last
pennies to buy sweets for baby beans or go out of her way to bring joy to another.
However with her benevolent qualities springs an honesty and sincerity which has
been refined to a direct bluntness as she’s unconsciously learnt from her mother.

Spirited, audacious, exploratory, and courageous Jay- Leonardi leaps four paws
into adventure never missing the opportunity to tromp off into the unknown,
whether it be attempting to follow on her Dad’s exploits or taking a trip to the
grocery store. Her intrepid bravery knows no fear and coupled with her defiance
has raised a truly daring Bean able to withstand even the scariest of situations
(Well within reason). The majority of Jayleo’s relatives nod their head in amusement,
no one can question she’s inherited her Family’s adventures streak, especially from
her father.

A level-headed, poised, and dauntless personality emerges from her youthful bravery
and while nothing on the planet can stun her terrified she respects that sometimes
fear is a good thing and doesn’t cower behind false bravado in dire times, this is

disarm even the most intimating of beans and as mentioned before she

overwhelmed by life’s unexpected events, her strong will and caring demeanour are able to
carry her through the brunt of emotional storms while using her quick mind to adapt to any
situation. She’s very in-tune with the world around her thanks to Mum’s naturalist
ways, she can effortlessly survive in the wilderness and note the subtle changes in weather to
determine an outcome. Jayleo loves wildlife and plants, especially trees, and has begun the
slow process of bonsai-fying her favourite tree, a maple, to keep nature close to her heart.

As Jay-Leonardi grows as does her love of nature, she is often seen tending to her
bonsai garden meticulously pruning and shaping, her patience unequalled when it

Twin Brother Michelangelo:

Her Bro and partner in crime, it's a rare sight to see these two sitting quite and innocent in each others
company, normally their doubled appearance heralds trouble is underway, paws and tails BEWARE!
A dangerous mix is concocted between Jayleo's will-power and Mikey's rebellious streak leading
them into all kinds of mis-adventures, and generally causing hilarious mayhem where ever they go.
On top of this the twins are at constant verbal warfare, besieging one-another with bickerish taunts,
jibes, and awful pet names, a bout will always conclude in peals of delirious giggles for their snarky
remarks are only superficial and never penetrate their thick fur, although Jayleo does tend to embarrass
Mikey when he's being particularly mean. Contrary to their seemingly rocky relationship the twins are as
thick as thieves, Jayleo has a deep rooted, unswerving love for her brother and could never ever imagine
life without him, to such an extent she's picked up on her fathers protective qualities and will blatantly
shove him aside in order to investigate a dangerous situation before him.

Mother Anevay:

The one bean she truly confides in, Jay-Leonardi runs to her mother for advice, huggles, a loving lick, and
release. Anevay is her most trusted secret keeper, whispering her deepest desires and terrors. Her Mum is
her reassurance when she pretends she doesn't need one. In saying this the two aren't the closest a mother
and daughter can be, this is due to Jayleo's love of blades and her ingrained fear that her dearest mother
wont approve of her talents and disposition, it can make her edgy, jumpy, and closed when the subject is
broached. Aside from this these two can be seen tending to nature, Jayleo cherishes her time learning the
ways of the bush with mum. However she holds one ideology very close to her heart - tails are meant to be
pounced upon! Anevay's curly tail tuft has no chance.

Jay-Leonardi is extremely close to her father, he is her world of wonder and excitement, of adventure
and swords. She looks up to him, admires him, and follows in his steps, literately! She's always under
paw not for one minute going to miss out on the action, because where her father goes, marvels follow.
She begs to be taught swordsbeanship and won't rest until her bouncing enthusiasm is in sight of his
blade, grabby paws reaching out to claim the weapon as her own. Apart from swords and adventures
she loves one other thing about her dad . . .If tails are meant to be pounced upon, then horns where grown
to be chewed. Resting, lying, sitting or being unaware of his surroundings Jayleo will seize the opportunity
to pounce out of the blue and chew on his horns.

Jay – Leonardi absolutely, positively adores her Grandpop, there is not one day that goes

her whole weekends hunting down the detective bean, for if there’s one thing Jayleo loves more than
sweeties it’s Grandpop’s treasure hunts and enthralling stories of his prime years. Like her father there
is not one dull moment when she’s in his company, always another clue note to find or riddle to solve. Cludo
is certainly neglected in their household for she’s thrust into the very heart of a real life board game.

One word, JOKES! Jay-Leonardi is glued to Cousin Wine's side whenever he's in the immediate vicinity,

verbal shenanigans. Thanks to Wine she's developed her own wit and can often be seen trying to
remember his better jokes while honing her prankster skills. Jayleo might not be a fan of potentially
harmful practical jokes but she does dabble in cheeky revenges and moral inducing pranks, the latter
involving Beans or people she thinks need a lesson. Wine is more often then not wrangled into her
devious plots along with her twin, both acting as her loyal arsenal of tricksters. She also loves to make
fake mustaches out of his tail tuft.

Second Cousin Yuki:

Cousin Yuki. . . Well you have to have the one family member you're at odds with, right? Jay-Leonardi
is at relentless rivalry war with Yuki, when ever they're stuck in the same room her first reaction is to
imitate Yuki's array of facial expressions in an over exaggerated cutesie fashion. Her next stage is
to mimic each and every action she does to an infuriating degree. Yuki also so happens to be a permanent
victim to Jayleo's pranks, her favorite of which is sneaking in on stealthy paws and messing with her hair,
Wine often in tow. Why? Yuki's sassy flirty nature and general dislike for younger beans has rallied Jayleo's
interest, to what extent it's unclear.

Uncle Amir:

Jay-Leonardi's first meeting with Uncle Amir was a full on bouncing tackle, she left no time for
introductions liking the golden teenager immediately, nor did she care about the shyness he first
exhibited because she saw right through to his imaginative, childish heart. The pair hitted off
immediately from that day on, Amir showing Jayleo the finer points of being a child, and Jayleo
relishing their time spend together. In truth she would never have known the true meaning of
"being a kid" if it weren't for her uncle learning a whole new creative world full of imaginary monsters
and lego creations. When in each others company the two (or three if Mikey's around) can always be
found playing pretend, Amir taking the Twins onto wondrous adventurers to far awaylands over the
rainbows. From Amir Jayleo has learned Kindness and to indulge in the creative arts, the world is her lump
of glass to be blown into what ever shape she chooses.

End Notes:

I had an absolute BLAST building and breathing life into this character, she is just so stunning and beautiful that I wanted to keep adding and adding and adding to this form. The relationships she has with her family members and the intricate fabric of her world was so much fun creating, and to be honest I can't wait to jump in and RP her *Whispers* even more then my bean Libertas O.O. Not to mention drawing her was a nice challenge. There is so much I still want to write, and I have so many plans for this girl it's insane!
I would like to mention that while my extras are limited compared to other brilliant forms I wanted to elaborate as much as possible on her personality and family relationships without bogging you guys down. . . Not that it helped anyway my form is still a lengthy read XP Also I'd like to throw this out there that age and birthday is up for negotiation, I don't mind if it's changed to suit Sunny's ideas.
