✷ Lorelei Harley Diamond ✷

"Oh, um, hello~ What are you doing here? Y-you don't know, do you? You couldn't know... No one knows that I'm actually a Buneary! Y-you do? Please don't tell anyone! I've never done anything to you!"

L o r e l e i Harley Diamond is a secret pokemon, masquerading as a t w e n t y - t h r e e year old young woman who spends her days as a r e c e p t i o n i s t in the Pokemon Contest Arena. Why does she do this? It's so she can still be close to happy trainers and their pokemon, because she m i s s e s her old trainer, Kamon Diamond (the reason why she chose her last name) and everything they used to have together.
Lorelei is an incredibly s w e e t, g e n t l e person, who never used to battle, and doesn't have a b a d b o n e in her body. However, she can be incredibly s e l f c e n t r e d and s e l f o b s e s s e d, as well as quite v a i n and s h a l l o w about her appearance. There's also the slight problem that she's s h y, and finds it d i f f i c u l t to talk to new people.
It's not all bad though. Lorelei absolutely loves y o u n g c h i l d r e n, probably reminding her of the years that she spent with her trainer when he was young, and can not bear anyone treating anyone b a d l y. She is incredibly l o y a l and won't l e t y o u d o w n.
Whether it's a good thing or a bad thing, Lorelei is as o p e n as she can possibly be without telling people about her, ah, little secret of being a pokemon in disguise.
What moves does she have?, I hear you ask. Well, Lorelei has conquered the moves B o u n c e, D i z z y P u n c h, J u m p K i c k, and H e a l i n g W i s h. Pretty good for a B u n e a r y, might I add.

{{ I'm still adding little bits and pieces here and there, and I still have a bit to add at the end, but I thought I'd post what I had before I lost it~ }}

______________________________
Gender;; Female
Age & Birthday;; 23 - 6th January
Pokemon species;; Bisharp
Ability;; Defiant
Moveset;; Night slash - Metal claw
Swords dance - Revenge
Personality;; Sasha is a quiet sort of character, and normally by choice. She seems to be in a constant state of brooding amazement at how stupid and weak the people who surround her can be, which she finds both irritating, frustrating and weirdly entertaining. This constant putting down of others' intelligence and abilities has given her an inflated ego and sense of arrogance. Her bubble of self importance, self interest and superiority shields herself from a couple of insults but beneath this she is frail and easily injured. She is cold and pushes away others because although she puts up a facade of enormous self-confidence and strength, she knows deep down she is like everyone else and is ,by extension, as weak as she views others.

Opinionated to the core, Sasha isn't a fickle sort of person even if she knows she has been proved wrong and holds true to original beliefs. at least until she can find a reason to present herself. She is much more interested in saving her own skin than being the hero. When the going gets tough, Sasha is inclined to get going. For this, she often needs encouragement that she is needed to be motivated to do something. Her truthfulness comes off as nastiness more often than not, which she doesn't mind as isolation from her own and others' emotions is what she wants the most. Although isolation has given her some less than desirable qualities, Sasha has gained a survivors streak of independence and she is rather quick-witted and hard working if she sees suit. Otherwise, she is normally lazy and shirks duties wherever possible, which she has a natural talent for. Perhaps her most striking pet-hate is losing her solid sense of coolness: if anything can get her riled she is extremely defensive and blush-y. Anyone who picks on or laughs at her during these times will face her wrath. One of Sasha's biggest embarrassments is her terror of heights. She gets terrible vertigo when near the edge of an unguarded drop and tends to get extremely panicky in high-up places, much to her displeasure.

History;; Sasha's original trainer, Sophie, lost a Pokemon early on in her Pokemon experience. A Scraggy which ended up passing away in a freak accident. She labelled this as a tragedy, but moved on with just Sasha for the rest of her experience because she trusted her to fend for herself if things went bad. With all training and battles put on her shoulders, the Pawniard grew at a fast rate and had evolved much sooner than average. She grew tougher as a single force and learned to depend on herself and Sophie only. This partnership continued until a chance visit to a town where Ghetis was preaching his views. Release your Pokemon. Harking back to the Scraggy she once had, Sophie realised she could not be trusted with Pokemon. She didn't say goodbye and instead, Sasha found herself alone in the woods with Sophie nowhere to be seen.

Sasha's consequential travelling led her to Black City where she disguised herself as a human and bounced from low-income job to low-income job before finally ending up as a trolley-girl in a supermarket. Seeing an opportunity for higher command, Sasha crawled her way up to the top job of manager, using many underhand tactics and threats along the way.

The Tourist
Image
meet haruka kosuke, a young twenty one year old women who enjoys her time travelling around. currently, this tourist is residing in black city, taking in all the sights and views. and although normal for an average tourist, haruka isn't just an average tourist; she is a litleo in disguise as a pale skinned, doe-eyed brunette young woman, and because of her pokemon nature, seeks out paradise.

originally, haruka was under the care of mareo nadare, her trainer for two years before she was traded to another trainer, narei ranma. and although traded, haruka doesn't hold much grudges to her previous trainer, often being forgiving, quite calm and adaptable by nature. she knows that to get better you have to make sacrifices. so leaving her previous trainer behind and starting anew with narei in the hoenn region, haruka became an avid traveler, often in the state of wanderlust, as her trainer traveled to and fro from the regions. his last stop being unova, black city; the place where he allowed a more serious and strategic haruka to become a liberated pokemon.

but although elegant, haruka, or ruka like she likes to go by, is also a bit deceptive and cunning when roaming around black city. she knows the world will be ending, so therefore she will have to find paradise before that happens; and although selfish, haruka is often noble and clever.

All was quite in his heavenly kingdom.

His subjects were happy, their laughter and joy filling his mighty hallways, his knights stood guard by the entrance, ever watchful. Treasures from all four corners of the world where in this very room he was currently residing in. And sitting in the middle of the room, on a platform upon a regal throne made of gold and jewels, was the king himself. Dressed in a robe made of red silk with gold thread at the edges, sat King Tomoe.

The King was currently fanning himself with his favorite dyed Unfezant feather fan. His locks of jet black hair gently swayed across his regal face as he closed his eyes and listen to the sounds of his happy kingdom. His purple jewel crusted crown sat on his royal head, perched in the center of his head. As he listen to the happy sounds a bell rang suddenly. Slowly opening his crystal blue eyes to see who now entered his Kingdom, King Tomoe grinned, his lips twitching. Smoothly pushing himself upward, the King spread his arms out in welcome, his fan in one hand.

"Welcome to my kingdom wary traveler! As king of this castle, I, King Tomoe, hope you find what you are seeking in my mighty halls-shoot, come back here!"

The illusion was now shattered as the plastic crown fell off his 'royal' head and tumbled down the steps of the raised platform in the middle of the room.

The 'subjects' were really children of all ages, laughing and playing with the many toys he keep in his shop. An adult could be seen here and there in the rows of stuff animals and plastic figures as they allow their young to drag them here and there, or whatever caught their interest. His brave 'knights' were a pair of seven foot tall Serperior and Scolipede that stood by the open door way in the bustling street, to entice the kiddies into his wonderful 'kingdom'. The king's 'treasures' were just his many produces of toys, books, boardgames, candies, and other knick knacks that he sold.

His 'throne' was just a old yellowing chair he had found shortly after he arrived in Black City. The chair's 'gold' paint was fading here and there, flecks of paint chipping in places. It did look like a throne, although it desperately looked like it need a new paint job and one of the legs were wobbly. A phone book was placed under the leg to keep it from falling as it often did with out it's support. But Tomoe loved the old wooden 'throne' to death.

"Hahaha, sorry about that." Tomoe laughed, placing the crown back on his head as he stood up. The couple that came in looked at him, amused, while their little girl looked up at him in awe. Tomoe gave a gentle bow, now mindful of his crown, and said, regally, "As I was saying, please, enjoy yourselves. Welcome to Tomoe's Kingdom of Hopes."

Yes, it was just another day in the dashing Tomoe's handsome life.

Litleo?

Postby judar. » Fri Apr 25, 2014 12:29 pm

Holding a small camera, Haruka followed the moving crowd in awe as she glanced to and fro at the shops she had passed. What was she going to do today, which shops would she visit, who would she meet, were often the three main questions she asked herself everyday as she made her way around Black City, camera in hand to take photos of anything interesting that caught her eye.

"Sugoi," she exclaimed as she passed another interesting shop, her natural japanese tongue coming out as she caught sight of a toy shop that was teeming with life. It seemed there were an abundance of little kids there, playing and having fun. Perhaps she would too? So lifting her small camera, the young brunette scurried away from the crowd, leaving the large mass as she flittered towards the door of the small shop.

'Perhaps I should buy a toy for myself', she thought, as she caught sight of the toys placed behind the window. Most of which were small cotton replicas of small and rather cute pokemon. 'Skitty, Eevee, Piplup, Pachirisu...' she silently listed down, as she entered the small store. Only pausing a moment to smile at the large pokemon at the entrance.

"This is so cool," she finally uttered as she took in all the childish delights available, before she walked further into the store. 'Would they have a Litleo?' the thought fluttered into her head as she slowly sauntered through the small aisles in curiosity, careful as to not step on the small children running by as she crouched down every so often to get a closer look at the cuddly and most definitely cute toys placed on the numerous shelves.

"Litle, litleo, litleo," she murmured as her eyes scanned the shelves, failing to see a toy cub around. "Any Litleo's?" She asked quietly, biting her lip as she stood up, hands automatically coming down to her inner thighs to stop the lowerhalf of her lattice back floral print dress flaring outwards. Where were the Litleo's?

"Welcome to my kingdom wary traveler! As king of this castle, I, King Tomoe, hope you find what you are seeking in my mighty halls-shoot, come back here!"

Head turning around at the voice, Haruka gave a small giggle at the older man's antics as he lurched forward to get a hold of a small plastic crown that lay haphazardly on a step. Was this, perhaps, the shop owner? She thought, as she made her way out of the aisles towards the rather animated man. 'Perhaps he can help me find a Litleo!' She quietly decided as she finally was close enough to ask:

"By any chance, would you have any toy Litleo's?" She chirped out as she bounced on her heels, waiting for an answer. And although seemingly childish, this was her persona as a cute little tourist, where in fact, she was a liberated pokemon, a Litleo.

♕ Karus
Kadabra // The Scientist // Location: streets > café > Tomoe's Kingdom of Hope > streets > supermarket // Mentions: Tomoe, Haruka // Tags: Sasha
_________________________________________________________________________________________________________________

Black City was not an unpleasant city. It was crowded, yes, but the people there were not necessarily bad. They made good food if nothing else.

Karus Aern was just thinking on what he was going to have for lunch - or rather, for breakfast. It was after noon, inching on to one o'clock, but he was utterly exhausted. He had been taking the night shift in the labs for several weeks, and his body clock was adapted for working all night and sleeping all day. The only reason he got up was to get a good lunch at 'Isabella's Café' in the city center. After eating, he would slump his way back to his apartment in the inner city only to fall asleep again until eight in the evening, as he had done for the past few weeks. His life was a routine, but a pleasant routine, one which he was content to follow. His line of work was becoming increasingly interesting: presently, he was studying Zorua and their ability to shapeshift. They could even shift into humans. Karus had smiled to himself when his fellow scientists decided to look into the rare ability, still not quite able to comprehend it. Shapeshifting was Zorua's defense, just as it was his.

Being a Kadabra/human was a good way to keep cover. In Black City, it was easy to blend in if you knew how. He was quite sure he wasn't the only one, but even Karus didn't know what to look for in another Pokémon disguised as a human. There was a difference in body temperature, but he had yet to discover more obvious factors.

His mind was wandering again. Karus gave a gentle shake of his head and returned his attention to the matters at hand. Slipping through the people lining the pavements, the scientist wrapped his brown coat tighter about himself. Dodging into the café he had sought out, Karus closed the door behind him and warmly welcomed the smell of coffee.

The owner, Isabella, was the café's namesake. She stood behind the counter, tending to the short queue of customers. It almost seemed that she had extra hands, for she worked so quickly. One second she was boiling a kettle for a cup of tea, the next she was wrapping up a sandwich. Waiting patiently, Karus stepped up and greeted the young woman with her white apron and crimson hair.

Five minutes later, he was opening the door of the café yet again, the little bell ringing as he left. In his hand was a brown bag containing a sandwich with an assortment of salad packed in with cheese and ham. He hadn't particularly liked meat before shifting into a human, but he had developed a strange likeness for it. His stomach growled in desperation, and he simply couldn't resist. Tugging half the sandwich out of his bag as he walked, Karus took a ravenous bite and looked about himself as he went.

On his way home, he passed a toy shop. It used to be a shabby old place, cramped with shelves stacked with jars of sweets. The place was once a sweet shop, and he remembered Aern going there with him every Sunday to buy blue bonbons. Pausing outside the toy shop, which had long since been repainted with vibrant colours, he pondered on going inside. The new sign over the door read 'Tomoe's Kingdom of Hopes'. Through the window, he spied a flamboyant young man seated upon a chair badly in need of new paint. The fellow was surrounded by kids, the parents being dragged by the hand through the store in half amusement and half impatience.

That fellow was Tomoe.

They had met before, briefly but on a few occasions - in the café down the street, in the supermarket nearby. A few times Karus had even ventured into the toy shop out of curiosity, but each time the vibrant man was busy rounding up kids and sitting upon his 'throne'. The slightest of smiles crept across his face as he looked through the window at the children practically bouncing of the walls. He was just about to walk on by when he spotted a child with golden hair over her back, cast in a braid.

Instinct took over. Karus threw open the door and was about to approach the girl who looked so much like Aern, when she turned around suddenly. It wasn't her, of course. They were the same build with the same hair, but this girl had eyes as blue as the sky. She looked nothing like Aern about the face.

Disappointment tugged at his heart strings as Karus stood, surrounded by children and toys. Tomoe did not see him - he was talking to a young woman with a sweep of dark hair tied away from her face. Turning on his heel, he left the shop, slamming the door behind him.

His early afternoon contentment became something cold and bitter. When he was angry, he worked: when he was upset, he worked. Working somehow kept his mind busy, so that was what he decided to do. Walking away from the toy shop with the image of the girl with hair like Aern's, Karus threw his paper bag in a nearby bin without finishing his food. He had lost his appetite.

He would work right through to the end of the night shift, meaning he would not return home until well after 5am. With a sickly feeling in his stomach, the young man strode on, hands in his pockets. He passed the nearby supermarket on his way to the city center, and suddenly remembered that he needed to resupply his stock of pens in the labs. A fellow called Henri Montove had been nicking his black pens for near two weeks now - really, the man had been taking the pens of Karus's desk without the courtesy to leave them back again. The thought of it sparked irritation in his thoughts.

The glass doors slid open as Karus entered the supermarket. He walked down the aisles, looking for the stationery section, only to realize that all of the products had been moved around. If looks could kill, Karus's glare right then could have done just that.

He was beginning to get frustrated, for neither could he see pens nor staff. The shop was littered with customers but it seemed that the employees were busy at the tills. Karus walked down the aisles with a scowl of annoyance, seeking out somebody to find him a packet of pens. There, at the end of the aisle, he spotted a blonde woman with a manager tag on her shirt. He approached her, forcing himself to be patient.

.............................................
As the blinded door of her office slammed shut, Sasha immediately relaxed and allowed a low whistle to escape her lips. Hoo-boy that really was ridiculous. Complaining customers were rarely the brightest sparks, but that guy? That guy took the cake. You always say this about the customers, she reminded herself as she haphazardly slung open a drawer and rustled around in it for emergency lipstick. The last complainer had also been the absolute worst. The next customer would most likely be on a whole different level. With a yawn, she laid back in her chair and started applying some of the particularly vivid red lipstick she had conjured up as a small celebration. Humans obviously had a few geniuses amongst them for such a good thing to exist in their name. But with the people like the latest moron who had just left her? There was still very little hope for them.

In the end, dealing with angry people was more than exhausting but at least left her with a sense of achievement: keeping all brain cells in tact was quite the thing to be proud of when faced with such fine specimens of stupidity. Besides, Sasha had won this round of "I should not be paying for this bottle I clearly smashed." Another victory for common sense. And the sense of smug achievement only just surpassed the irritation of having to be reasonably polite with the raving idiot.

"Right," she muttered, chucking the lipstick vaguely onto her desk. Dealing with finances wasn't a possibility right now, so briefly braving the actual shop for lunch was the only other job available. Mainly, Sasha just stole food from the shop under the guise of it being 'suspicious and harmful to customer satisfaction'. That was the big secret of her career thus far. Oh, and she was a Bisharp. But that wasn't particularly relevant when there was a whole lot of suspicious pilfering going on. After locking up the office, there was just enough time to survey the many delights of life on the shopfloor. Aggravated parents dragged around their bratty kids, old couples tottered along and got in the way of the trolley-people with road-rage issues. Seeing the human race bumble around like this was inspirational. With that quick survey for any disruptions done, she click-clacked further into the aisles for all the edible stuff.

Sasha was browsing the various brightly coloured drinks for 'deformities' when something caught the corner of her eye. Walking down the aisle was a blonde man with familiar intent on his face. He was coming for her. And just by looking at his tense face, she found herself thinking this man would ruin her day. The second unreasonably angry man of the day, she thought bitterly as she slowly put the green can in her hand down. As casually as possible, Sasha scanned her grey eyes across the aisle he strode through and looked for other employees to throw in front of his shoes before slinking away. She bit her lip when she realised the only other person was an elderly woman nearby. Well, perhaps by talking with a sweet old lady, it was possible to plant the thought in her head that she needed shampoo and then guide her, and more importantly herself, away from this dangerous creature and his death march?

Nah. Disappointment twinged in her mind: there was no way out of this one. Besides, eye-contact had been made and ignoring him in favour of a peacefully browsing customer would most definitely add fuel to the fire. With a brooding sigh, Sasha turned around fully on her heels and faced the inconsiderate monster with a smile she barely managed to muster. "Hello Sir, is there anything I can help you with?" she asked in her most helpful and considerate of voices, trying to look interested in his issues with supermarket life. It didn't work as planned. A considerable amount of frustrated strain lined her dark tone, but at least her current dislike of this guy had been managed to be kept under wraps. Most people never noticed anyway: they were too wrapped up with their own little problems to notice a little bit of badly-concealed scorn every now and again.
