Species Rules

Each person may only own 4 Lequards at a time.
(You may give one back to adopt a new one!)

Any changes in design must first be approved by Cerestes/the designer.

You may not use a Lequard that does not belong to you without the owner's permission.

You may not breed Lequards with other species unless approved by Cerestes/the designer
(and the designer of the other parent).

You may not have other people breed your Lequards for you.

Lequards may only breed every couple months.

Please respect all staff members and forum-goers!

About the Species



Differences In Gender

Male lequards are about the size of the average slender wolf.
They have brightly colored feathered manes and feathers sprouting from the tail.

The female also has brightly colored feathers, though they are not as full and grow more sporadically.
Male lequards who are more feminine in nature may look more feminine in appearance.
The females are also smaller in size.

Appearance and Mutations
Lequards usually have some sort of gradient color.

Their hair is usually iridescent like their feathers.

Part of the Lequards' aura of mystery is their wide range of mutations.
Lequards may possess wings, extra limbs, large feathers, horns and many more features!

Habitat
Habitat
Lequards are able to live in any environment, though they prefer the cover of jungles and forests.

Reproduction
An interesting fact about Lequards is that they are very gender-fluid,
meaning that they can morph their gender based on their needs.

Males have been known to lose their feathers and turn into females, and vice-versa.

Lequards may have up to 3 pups in a single litter, though 2 is the most common number.

Pups may stay with their parents until they are 1 year old (or roughly 16 in human years).

Diet
Lequards are known to have sweet tooths, though some prefer a strict diet of meat or fruits and vegetables.

Marking! Do you have a download of the lines, preferably greyscaled, or just flat white? My program doesn't do well with already colored lines like purple or grey. x3 I wanted to play around before attempting at being a guest artist, if that's alright?
