      Name: Fenneltail
Description: Boop! He's a lithe light golden medium-haired tomcat with pale green eyes. He's usually an introverted being that likes peace and quiet, but he is easygoing and undyingly loyal once you get to know him.
Important Notes: Even though he comes from a Clan known for their climbing skills, he shone out amongst the rest during his training and is well-known for his astonishingly exceptional agility in the trees, earning him his warrior name. He is pretty much average at everything else otherwise, though he is noted to be a decent fighter.

This character mainly stems from an experiment I'm trying out, so I wanted to make sure he had a suitable name. :3 there may be more cats to come as a forewarning,

As long as they don't come in tonight, haha. I've had my fill of reviewing cats for today.

Name Rating: 10/10
Name Type: Traditional
Name Reasoning: The name's perfect for him, though the image is just a shade dark. Maybe I've mentioned my fondness for Fennel-, maybe not, but in either case it's a favorite prefix of mine (juxtaposed with -claw).
Alternative Name: None!

Character Rating: 9/10
Character Reasoning: Of course, we all know the spiel about loyalty, but I will suggest that you switch the phrasing to "committed", which could be seen as loyal, but it's more so about staying with what you have. Otherwise, this is a very good cat!

Yay, thank you for your ratings. I will go through and edit a little and work out what works best for the story. I hope to start writing soon. The territory plan is the hardest part at the moment, but it's all coming together. I feel bad for poor Stoatstripe, but what happened to him will be important :)
Having serious issues viewing dark colours at the moment. May delay replys to pms. Sorry.

The Leopard Pups
Grey, Black and White. The world revolves and we go with it. Twisting in this everlasting monotony, eyes of green and gold, watching and waiting for our chance, our time. Cytor, Liliana, Serenade, Bayonet, the Prankster, the sweet one, the mother and the lost soul. There birth was a lost event, one in a million, two wandering souls met in the shadows, and these four were created. There pups are the stuff of legend, one lost there sight, one lost there path, one lost there love and the other? The other lost his family, everyone they cared about. He lost his family.

Excellent! Yeah, territories are difficult, but after that everything will go smoothly (hopefully).

Name: Greyshadow
Description: Grey and white tuxedo cat with golden eyes. He has a crooked hind leg from a badger fight, which earned him a permanent limp. He tends to have mood swings, one day he's happy and the next day he's grumpy and snappy. Still, he is a loyal cat and protects the clan with all his heart. He is slightly ambitious, and some cats could see him as deputy, but he himself views himself as a lazy cat, unfit for deputy. Greyshadow is a proud mentor, and likes younger cats. He wishes for kit one day, and has an eye on one of the she-cats in his clan.
Important Notes: erm... i don't think so.

Arcaii wrote:Unfortunately, Moss- wouldn't really work on anyone (a darn shame, too, because it's wildly popular). There really isn't a variant of moss that isn't green, and if you're naming the cat for when the moss dies and becomes brown, that sort of has some negative implications (much like Leaf-).

If you do find a breed of moss that consistently is brown or grey while it's alive and healthy, please let me know. I haven't found anything in any research I've done.

terrific! i also found some, sadly, i do not know the breed. it was in a 'moss starter kit'. Image

That all appears to be dead moss, sadly. The roots are dry and the leaves are still somewhat green. Without certainty of the name and breed, we can't be sure.
There are other plant names I can suggest to you, though, if you'd like. Some are very nice.

Rate: 7/10
Type: Canonical
Reasoning: There's two different types of names we could go with here, but for right now I'll tell you the issue with his name. His prefix is just fine, but his suffix doesn't really say anything about him - nothing that would fit or be considered a compliment.
-shadow could mean that he's silent and good at sneaking, therefore good at hunting (-whisker), but he's got a bad leg which would really stomp that out. It could mean that he's a shady individual, or that he's wrapped in mystery, but he is neither of those things, nor are they something worth naming. A cat can't be wrapped in mystery around their Clanmates - they knew him since he was still drying after being born. A shady cat, on the other hand, is untrustworthy and a possible threat to the harmony, and certainly not someone that the Clan would want to keep.
Luckily, he does have a trait that could be named, that being his tendencies to swing his mood this way and that. He's a little calm for it, but I think it could work.
On the other hand, if you wanted to, we could name him for that leg of his. That's a serious injury that's left him unable to hunt and forced to hobble around. It's an honorable thing to be renamed, just so we're clear - a name like One-eye or Tornface says "I nearly died and I won't have an easy time getting around, but I'm strong enough to continue living and thrive, and you better not try to cross me, because I can still bring you down".
That said, it's entirely up to you and him. Renames are consented, rather than forced.
Alternative Name: Greystorm/Crookedleg/Brokenfoot. (suffixes of the last two interchangeable, depending on where exactly the injury is). -storm recognizes his personality, and Crookedleg/Brokenfoot brings attention to his injury.
