"Angels can be manipulated, no matter how devout they seem. And the combined powers of my own and Naira's powers can convert angels quickly." He twirled his blade. "And that when I fuel anger through my sword, it seems to hum and work better."

Naira looked at Valgus with a look of confusion, then of discovery. "The blade is bound with Alvira'd brother. The spirit is rmbound to kill. The anger fuels the sword's energy source-- you," she explained.

"No thank you Naira, I survive on a different kind of sustenance. Angels have been lied to their entire lives, they have no foundation to guard against you Valgus. It's true, my little brother always had a short fuse." She said, glancing at the sword. "Is that all, mission accomplished? I surely hope that isn't it. Could we have done any better?" Alvira asked impatiently, tapping her foot on the ground.

"It could have gone smoother. I should have been more attentive to what was going on so you didn't get unnecessarily injured, Commander." Valgus felt guilty for the injury. He should have known Michael would have tried something. "Though, now that we've attacked the base, they'll be looking for us. We should put warding up around the cathedral. Even with our small legion, their numbers are greater than ours."

Naira looked at Valgus ans smirked. "Eldrich and Shadow. The angels touch it, the angels turn into what the legions have," she said aloud.

"You can say that again, but I'm not going to hold it against you Valgus." She said, touching her wound which hadn't healed completely yet. "You're right, they'll be coming after us. especially now because they know I'm injured. I can't do much in my condition, I need to preserve all of my energy so that I can heal quicker. Naira I leave you in charge of putting wards up, if they destroy my church it won't end well for you, know that now. Can you handle the task that I have given you?" Alvira asked with a raised eyebrow. "Valgus, I leave you in charge of everything else. I have no other choice, do not disappoint me or get anyone hurt trying to protect you, ok?" She sighed, leaning hard on her axe for support. "I'm going to go rest now, show them that my soldiers do not need their Commander to fend of a weak angel force." Alvira said, walking back over to the pews to rest.
