I was more interestwd in MisakixUsagi so I didn't pay that much intention to the others and their story develops in a good way and the art gets better as well (some people complain about too big hands and such, but I don't mind such things). My sister once saw that I watched a certain yaoi anime on my pc (more 'extrem'), I hope she forgot that by now (already some years ago).
The manga has more 'love scenes' by the way XD

THE YAOI HANDS

I read a lot of yaoi manga, and most of my time is spent trying to find one that does not involve harassment and forced stuff. (I have failed). There really isn't a non-lemony yaoi manga out there. Some of my friends aren't supportive, but luckily for me, one fateful day, one of my otaku friends beckoned me to a cornered and whispered "do you know what yaoi is" ever sense that day we talk about nothing but junjou romantica and the characters we want to get together from attack on titan and such while my other anime-loving friends avoid us.

I love Princess Princess!!! But it's just crossdressing, not a genderbend. It is perfect c:

I understand what you mean about MisakixUsagi (even though Misaki's tendency to ignore Usagi's feelings/needs did get to me a few times during the series -3-) but for some reason I really liked this pairing. It wasn't my favourite, that was HirokixNowaki.

One thing that I found really funny was Hiroki and Nowaki continued worry about their four year age gap when Shinobu (that was his name!) and Miyagi were just sitting in the corner with a whopping seventeen year age gap XD

HirokixNowaki seem to be really popular, but I like there pairing the least (maybe because I started the series, when I only liked older seme).
Misaki has to put up with several things as well (like the strawberry fight XD) - all in all I would say, the care very much for each other (Misaki becomes more of an adult during the manga). Misaki wasn't in any serious relationship before so he has to learn to notice such things, I like how he yelled at Usagi's brother and his father though (not the most mature things, but it really made Usagi happy).

aaah, so we're on the topic of junjou romantica as of now, hm?
well, my friend has been pushing me to watch + read it, along with sekaiichi hatsukoi.
but i don't know if i should. i don't exactly like the sound of the plot, or summary, yet many (yaoi fans) are telling me it's a must-watch anime, with a bunch of other extravagant comments.
maybe if i heard it summarized in an actual fan's view, i may see it in a different way? could someone possibly do that for me? at the moment, it just doesn't sound too... appetizing for my otaku + yaoitaku soul.

ooh, and i absolutely loved this yaoi manga. it's way more on the fluff side than your usual yaoi, but it utterly killed me. i read it, i am pretty sure, last year, and i fell in love! it is calling, by ootsuki miu. it is simply adorable. it even made me cry. you absolutely need to read it!

I'll try summing a bit of it up.

Usami is an author and a good friend of Takahiro. Usami has loved Takahiro for ten years, but then the announcement comes... Takahiro is getting married. And moving. Takahiro's little brother Misaki is upset. How could his brother be so insensitive? Running out of the house in tears, Misaki escapes outside, dragging Usami with him. Usami is very confused at this whole reaction but touched at the same time, he'd been certain no-one could see through his façade, yet here was little Misaki, crying his eyes out for Usami.

That was a kind of brief summary of the first moment Usami started to like Misaki... I think.

I would rate it around 7.5/8, I really liked it :3

It's got two seasons, both with twelve episodes. Though a new season has been in the works for a year now, so it may become three.

Usami is an author and a good friend of Takahuro. Usami has loved Takahuro for ten years, but then the announcement comes... Takahuro is getting married. And moving. Good summary, but you forgot to mention, that Usagi tutored Misaki and that Misaki found out about Usagi's love for his brother (he also dislikes Usagi at the beginning).
I like Junjou Romantica, because I like how their relationship develops (Usagi being the one, who would do everything for his lover and Misaki being the one helping Usagi with is daily live and giving him a family like feeling he never got from his relatives) and I have to say IT'S A MUST WATCH as well :D I watched/read a lot of yaoi, but it's still me absolute favourite and I can rewatch it again and again. I want a third season, since the manga is already quite some chapters ahead of the anime.
Like Hatsukoi it also has three different pairings, that interact with each other UsagixMisaki being the main one.
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )
