Ahhh wow, thank you so much everyone! I'd gone on a little mini vacation for the weekend and came back to this, it's awesome! <3 I appreciate all the nice comments!


To address a few more specific ones;;

This is so gorgeous. It's very light and airy, as it should be, seeing as the character is flying through the clouds.

However, it may be my computer screen, but I am missing the iridescence you are speaking of. I see blues and some green and yellows, but it seems all the other colors are not there. Unless you didn't use them in the first place. n.n If in that case, most people think that iridescence is normally associated with the whole rainbow. Despite missing these colors, your character looks very soft and fluffy, as if I could reach out and feel its fur.

Overall, a wonderful job! And congrats on the feature.

It may be the screen. I know it's harder to make out on my phone some of the colors. There's pinks and oranges more apparent on the wings and his tail where the light is facing. Then some purpley colors tucked in with bits of the shading mostly. Mostly what I was thinking of when doing this was the iridescence of bubbles, which I've only usually seen three colors. Like I said in the OP though, it was an attempt, so it's definitely far from a perfect representation. xD

No, definitely not that long. xD It did take me much, much longer that most of my work usually does as I put a ton of work into it though. I'd say about half that, probably less.

Iridescence is difficult and I didn't realize that was what you were going for until I read it. I think you'd need to make the iridescent colors more vibrant to truly read iridescence, but personally I love the pearly effect it currently has as is.
It's an A+ job.

That definitely makes sense. I was worried of making the color blotches to bright and looking just like weird colored blotches of fur, though maybe if I did it sparingly it would come across? This would definitely be more like pearlescence now that you mention it, maybe I will attempt to bring out some slightly bright spots.

I drew a curved line where I wanted the main wing structure, and then just did little loopies where I wanted the feathers. If that makes sense, it probably doesn't because I suck at explaining things. ;-;

Fluffy floof. Where's the stuffed animal?

I don't know, but I'd love to have one for sure. Maybe that should be my next big project, haha. xD
