Blazefur meowed sternly, "Stay in the nursery, I don't expect that the medicine cats will be happy if you end up in their den."

Lightningkit meowed absentmindedly, "What's a medicine cat?"

Pinekit mewed, "And what's a den?"

Blazefur purred, "A medicine cat is a cat that heals others with herbs. A den is a place where cats can sleep, and you're in one right now, of which we call a nursery."

Dragon :: River Segment

"Alright, Getto." He nodded to the she-cat. "Why don't Amberleaf and I discuss an appropriate name for you, and then we will discuss it with you, if you agree I will call the Clan." He waved his tail, letting the loyal she-cat know she was dismissed. He turned back to Amberleaf, already running a few names through his head of possible warrior names. Starfire? Gingertooth? Jaggedfur? Talontail? Riverwinds? Blazeflame? Startooth? Starfur? Starwing? Maybe if he named her after StarClan a bit then it would bring the Clan hope. He knew it was unusal for a name to start with 'Star' but maybe he shrugged. Then went back over the names in his head. It would be odd, but he decided it would give the Clan hope, plus Getto was a very popular cat in the Clan. She was kind, but fierce in battle. His mind went to the first one he came up with, and he liked the sound of it. Starfire . . . He rolled the name around in his head, thinking it would prefect. "I'll suggest Starfire for Getto." He nodded, turning to Amberleaf. "I know it's not really . . . what StarClan would usually approve of," Thinking of the first part, "But I think it will bring the Clan hope, and maybe also get us closer to StarClan."

Amberleaf shook her head at Dragon, the leader of the OneClan River Segment. "No... that wouldn't work. That's implying that you think you're better than or even equal to StarClan, by naming a cat with the prefix of 'Star', and StarClan won't be very happy." She held her tail up high in the air, fire in her eyes. "No, it won't work! I just won't stand for it!" she declared, holding her head high. Then, she quieted down again and meowed, "How about... hmm. How about Flameheart? Or Fireheart?" She looked embarrassed. "I know Fireheart was the name of a famous cat, but... I really do hope that we can name her something like that!" she confessed.

Waterstream collapsed in the middle of the clearing whilst sharing a piece of fresh prey with her sister. "Waterstream, what's wrong?" Silverstreak asked frantically, not sure what was happening with her sister. "Waterstream?" She looked on worriedly as her sister slumped in pain, not sure what to do. "AMBERLEAF!" Silverstreak yowled, wanting the medicine cat's help. "I think it might be her kits... They're not due for another three moons!"

Getto || River Segment

Getto nodded and turned around, padding out of the camp with her tail held high. How exciting! she thought. A new name...I wonder what it will be? She was planning to go an hunt near the River-Wind Segment border, where she could possibly snag a rabbit and see Weeze. She missed her old friend...The black and white splotched cat had chose a different clan from her. I wish he hadn't, thought Getto mournfully. I really do miss him.

Weeze sighed and called out again to his Segment Leader. "Lightfoot? Are you in there?"

Blood Clan
Gez hissed and walked away to find one of his leaders. He padded aimlessly around the camp peering in on other slaves and smiling whenever he saw one of the rougher masters leading their slaves out of the camp. Finally he located Stormstar. Nodding to him Gez sat down to wait until Stormstar came over to him.

Doveheart* cowered in her cage when Gez walked past. He was known to be a cruel and vicious master and she knew she wouldn't want him as her's. She sighed with relief when he walked away. Turning around she laid down and closed her eyes attempting to go to sleep.

Amberleaf gazed over in shock at Waterstream. "Oh, no! I'm coming, Waterstreak! Just hold on, you two!" She hurried into her den for the necessary herbs.
