Sunrise watched as a strange wolf carried her mother and brother away. "Mom!" Sunrise screamed as they disappeared.

Mara felt herself shift, she opening her eyes slowly and saw her son Spitfire standing over her. "Spi-spitfire.." She murmured as the pain softened.

Spitfire noticed they were floating and turned back to Mara.,he nuzzled her,"mom..." he whimpered and his gaze softened.

Mara smiled softly, "Hows my little boy doing?" She asked nuzzling him. Maras movements were weak and her eyes were tired, "Screech..would..be..so..proud.." She whispered gazing softly at Spitfire.

Spitfire feels a tear drop from his eye,"oh mom...im doing fine." He muttered and laid down by mara, curling his bigger body around her,"you think dads really proud?"

"Of..course..he's..proud..Why..wouldn't..he..be?" Mara murmured shifting her gaze to the sky. "He..was..always..the..one..to..worry.." She whispered with a smile.

Spitfire smiled and nuzzled her,"thanks mom..." he then gave a soft but stern bark,"stop talking...your wasting energy!" He didnt want his mother to die.
