Jackson looked up and saw Kaylee. He opened his window. "Hey.." He said, a slight smile tugging on his mouth.
I know why
the caged bird sings.
A caged bird stands
on a grave of dreams,
his shadow shouts on
a night mares scream.
We think the caged bird sings,
when indeed, he cries.
The song of a bird,
can never be caged.

"This is my aunts house.. I'm going to stay here for a while. He smiled looking down at his phone. "And apparently my dad and sister are fine and coming home next week." He was beside himself with joy and relief.

We think the caged bird sings,
when indeed, he cries.
The song of a bird,
