@vices: -san is a perfectly fine honorific. XD
I know a lot of series that have them combined, the problem is, I've watched all of them already. Now I'm at a loss. Time to go anime hunting. I think I spend more time looking for anime to watch than actually watching them. XD

@Shinigami: I have seen Ao no Exorcist. It's a great series. ^^

On another note, I'm looking for some suggestions. Preferably I'd like to watch/read an action-y/comedic/supernatural/mildly romantic series with a strong male lead. Anyone have a few ideas? I just finished Hataraku Maou-sama and Blood Lad, and liked both, so something like either of those two would be perfect.

        hmmm, maybe you could try darker than black? it's not really comedic, but i just watched it again and man it's such a good anime! samurai champloo might be enjoyable for you too - it's got more comedy than darker than black, though it's not really "supernatural". rosario to vampire and strike the blood are also viable options, though i feel sort of iffy about recommending them because i personally didn't find them very interesting, haha...

        also for manga, you might like code:breaker? i vaguely remember somebody in the club talking about it (i'm sorry if you've already read it! uwu) i think it fits all of your criteria, although i do have a lot of criticisms about oogami, the male lead...

        and hey since we're talking about recommendations, does anybody know of a psychological thriller/mystery manga that's similar to liar game? uwu

I've actually seen all of those except for Rosario, and I have read Code:Breaker, though I need to finish up the last few chapters. Doesn't Rosario have a stronger female lead than male lead though? I've only seen AMVs and things, but rather than the male protecting the female, it seems to be vice versa.

I don't remember Rosario and Vampire that well, but if I remember correctly it is a human boy who goes to a school for monsters and the girl lead is a vampire who has protected him several times so yes, it has a stronger female lead character

I used to watch FMA03 subbed on AnimeHere. On that website, the opening/closing songs had cool sing-a-longs in Romajii and Kanji where the syllable currently being sung was highlighted. Does anyone know where I can find a video of Rewrite on YouTube like that? #BadlyWordedYes

I like the girl characters, and there are also good things about the male lead, but you are right, he is rather weak (human compared to monsters, he gains some powers later though).

I don't think, that you watched Blood+ or Guardian of the spirit yet, did you - female leads, I know, but really strong and cool ones ; )
xxxHolic also has a male lead, but he is not really strong physically.
Did you watch Evangelion? Rainbow? Black Cat? Btooom? Kaze no Stigma? Devil May Cry?
- I only know the last few by title only : )

Detective Conan:
A smart and conceited boy, who is also a sherlock fanatic claims to be a detective. He is dumb enough to follow some shady gangsters, which results in him getting poisoned. Defying all kind of biological rules, the poison shrinks him so that he doesn't die, but gets stuck in the body, that looks 10 years younger. Unsure what do do next he goes to his friend/neighbour, a strange old professor, who mostly invents things that just explode or are useless, which is the reason why he is neither rich nor married. With the help of his friend the boy manages to build a fake identity and to convince his 'girlfriend' to take him in. In over 600 episodes the boy doesn't manage to convey his love to his girlfriend, neither does she, while she isn't smart enough to figur out, that her childhood friend is living with her either. Her father is a useless detective and spends most of his time either drinking, playing majong or seeing horse racing. He always suspects the wrong people and is unable to chase or protect someone. Anyone who invites him to a party is crazy, because the party always ends up with at least one person dying if he is there. The boy narcotizes the old detective in order to solve cases with his voice (with an invention of the professor he is able to reproduce almost every kind of voice, even people he meets for the first time). About 90% of those cases involve either a string, a closed room or an 'impossible' crime and about 70% of the murderer are handsome men. The old detective gets more and more famous, while the boy has to go to elementary school again, were he plays little detective games with his classmates/friends. Later more and more people show up, like a little girl, claiming to be a 81-year old hag (could also be 18, but you can't be sure). Together they try to catch the gangsters in black, that poisoned the boy, who have names, that make them sound like a group of anonymous alcoholics.
Sorry for the long text, hope there aren't too many mistakes, feel free to edit^^
Funny AMV fitting to the text

@Siren~
There are also romance manga/anime with really cool/likeable main characters, but you have to search for them ;)
You could try Denpa Kyoushi (reverse harem), the main guy is nice and funny and the girls all have their strong parts to (there isn't really any romance yet).
Love so Life (slow romance, and the girl is really likeable)
Skip Beat (the main girl wants to get revenge on her ex-boyfriend for tricking her)
Hajimari no Niina (a girl gets reincarneted and meets the boyfriend of her former self)
I am a demon, she is a wife (girl makes a contract with a demon so that he has to marry her, she loves him, but he claims to only like beautiful woman)
Shinigamihime no Saikon (the 'The Princess of Death' marries a 'Tyrant' - very funny)
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 (a girl with special powers joins a detective agency - very likeable main characters)
Cubism Love (the main girl had in accident and is just a brain in a box now, but falls in love)
Betrayal knows my Name (Yuki is besides Shiharu from Love so Life, the most kind-hearted main character I know, which makes the main pairing very likeable)

I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

I've seen about half of Blood +, but I haven't heard of Guardian of the Spirit. I've glanced at Evangelion a couple of times, but somehow it never stuck with me. Black Cat, Kaze no Stigma and Devil May Cry I watched and loved. I've heard of Btooom, so I might see what that's about.
It's hard to find things in this genre I haven't at least heard of. :P

Good description of DC. The video made me laugh so hard. XD

EDIT: Is it just me, or does the sky get mentioned a lot in anime credits songs? We have stuff like most of the FMAB songs and Muso-ka from Utawarerumono.

I think you'd Kimi no Koishitei li desu ka. It lacks the supernatural element but has everything else.
