Lol, breeding actually has not worked out for me yet. I've filled... oh, I am sure at least 5 boxes of Vulpix, no shiny yet. Friend Safari, on the other hand...

Does a shiny gyarados count? What it's too easy to get so it doesn't? Fine On a different game I got a shiny aipom from a normal ditto.
I was trying to get a shiny caterpie on my y a few weeks ago but gave up.

You've just got to be patient ^^ I think chaining, either fishing or PokeRadar, is the fastest way to get them, since toucan stack the chance and make it higher.

Also, 1500+ Fennekins and no shiny. I win. I think I wasted all my luck on Dedenne, my little guy hatched in under 30 that time. But yeah, I feel sorry for Charm, my Delphox. One minute she's out fighting Team Flare and being awesome; the next she's mother to 1500 Fennekins.

sounds like the life of most people now adays lol
well shinies are 1 in a million chance, literally. The most common shiny is the gyarados which isn't easily attainable in x and y unlike the johto games.

Actually I believe it's 1 in around 8000 or so. Not sure. But the concept still applies. Hopefully I'll get lucky soon. Maybe I'll try a different Pokemkn for a bit.

I would really love a Chikorita, Totodile, and Turtwig most, but also in need of Treecko, Mudkip, Chimchar, and Piplup if you don't mind breeding all those. ^.^
