Really? I phailed (that is a word now) at making my favourite video game sound bad.
...On a related note, there should totally be a Solatorobo anime. And are there any fan translations of the mangas out there?

    Describe your favourite anime/manga and make it sound as bad as possible.
    The ultimate lazy-bum spends 22 episodes trying to dodge anything that may require effort. However, he always gets involved anyway, thanks to an overenthusiastic girl with eyes that look like small planets that were covered in glitter dust by a five-year-old girl. Together with a guy whose hobby is memorizing useless information and a sarcastic girl, they form their school's Classics Club, but they don't seem to do much other than solving banal mysteries out of boredom.

There is no genre I dislike more ;-;

I like pretty boys but I hate romance in anime /dies

What is it, that you dislike about romance in animes? Really everything or just if it's to cliche/the main genre?
I only read/watched mangas/animes with a specific storyline at the beginning, but I came to like more and more things so that I don't really avoid a genre now. There are also mangas with quite unusual love stories and harem mangas without much romance.

I just tend to find the girls in romantic anime to be super bland and obnoxious most of the time. And it always feels so lazy and forced when the guy(s) fall in love with her. It seems to be OMG SHES SO PRETTY NOW IM OBSESSED

And on the other hand when its a harem anime with a male main character and a harem of women, I tend to find the guy to be extremely boring and unloveable too.

I love romantic movies and books, but I hate the genre so freaking much in anime :| It just feels lazier in anime I guess.

Describe your favorite anime/manga and make it sound as bad as possible.

A neglectful, alcoholic single father chooses his job as a washed up super hero over his family after his wife dies. He's so pathetic that in a desperate attempt to keep him interesting, his boss partners him up with an extremely selfish hot guy with the same powers. None of the other heroes in their league give a crap about saving people, they're all just in it for themselves, but the main character teaches them the error of their ways by showing them their personal problems are petty compared to his own. He tries to reconnect with his daughter, but he's been so useless to her that she wants nothing to do with him in the end. Everyone but her is incompetent and it's basically up to her ten year old self to save the world from her dad's screw ups.

Okay.

Life. Choices. Utawarerumono is only 26 episodes long so it won't take me too long to finish it. But what do I watch afterwards? Maybe I'll try Soul Eater again? I ditched SE halfway through the first episode mainly because I wanted to get onto Brotherhood so that my dislike for the ending of 2003 didn't kill my interest in FMA.

Also I lovelovelovelovelove the image + caption of this TV Tropes article.

Detective Conan:
A smart and conceited boy, who is also a sherlock fanatic claims to be a detective. He is dumb enough to follow some shady gangsters, which results in him getting poisoned. Defying all kind of biological rules, the poison shrinks him so that he doesn't die, but gets stuck in the body, that looks 10 years younger. Unsure what do do next he goes to his friend/neighbour, a strange old professor, who mostly invents things that just explode or are useless, which is the reason why he is neither rich nor married. With the help of his friend the boy manages to build a fake identity and to convince his 'girlfriend' to take him in. In over 600 episodes the boy doesn't manage to convey his love to his girlfriend, neither does she, while she isn't smart enough to figur out, that her childhood friend is living with her either. Her father is a useless detective and spends most of his time either drinking, playing majong or seeing horse racing. He always suspects the wrong people and is unable to chase or protect someone. Anyone who invites him to a party is crazy, because the party always ends up with at least one person dying if he is there. The boy narcotizes the old detective in order to solve cases with his voice (with an invention of the professor he is able to reproduce almost every kind of voice, even people he meets for the first time). About 90% of those cases involve either a string, a closed room or an 'impossible' crime and about 70% of the murderer are handsome men. The old detective gets more and more famous, while the boy has to go to elementary school again, were he plays little detective games with his classmates/friends. Later more and more people show up, like a little girl, claiming to be a 81-year old hag (could also be 18, but you can't be sure). Together they try to catch the gangsters in black, that poisoned the boy, who have names, that make them sound like a group of anonymous alcoholics.
Sorry for the long text, hope there aren't too many mistakes, feel free to edit^^
Funny AMV fitting to the text

@Siren~
There are also romance manga/anime with really cool/likeable main characters, but you have to search for them ;)
You could try Denpa Kyoushi (reverse harem), the main guy is nice and funny and the girls all have their strong parts to (there isn't really any romance yet).
Love so Life (slow romance, and the girl is really likeable)
Skip Beat (the main girl wants to get revenge on her ex-boyfriend for tricking her)
Hajimari no Niina (a girl gets reincarneted and meets the boyfriend of her former self)
I am a demon, she is a wife (girl makes a contract with a demon so that he has to marry her, she loves him, but he claims to only like beautiful woman)
Shinigamihime no Saikon (the 'The Princess of Death' marries a 'Tyrant' - very funny)
Keishichou Tokuhanka 007 (a girl with special powers joins a detective agency - very likeable main characters)
Cubism Love (the main girl had in accident and is just a brain in a box now, but falls in love)
Betrayal knows my Name (Yuki is besides Shiharu from Love so Life, the most kind-hearted main character I know, which makes the main pairing very likeable)
I used to be online a lot here, but I became bored of this site and I don't like some of the rules here.
Now I'm pretty busy as well. You can still try to message me though, I might be online again now and then : )

I just recently finished watching an anime called Karneval. It came out last year, and the art is gorgeous. I was wondering if anyone else has seen it.

He reminds me of a mix between young Grell, Sebby and Ciel.
