Dian looked Kane in the eyes. "At least you didn't became like him."

"Yeah, there is that.." He muttered, a jagged set of bangs fallin' over his left eye after a moment.

Brookie shook her head. '' I don't like them...I love them! '' replied Brookie

Dian shoved Kane's hair back. "You are nothing like him. I didn't expect you to agree with my idea... To be honest, I thought you'd stop me." He smiled a little. "What you did takes a lot of courage. You're nothing like your father. Or anyone who works here."

Varias smiled. "I can see that. What's your favorite animal?"

He could only stare at him for several seconds, slight surprise in his gaze. Obviously stunned that someone didn't compare him to his father for once based on his short temper or size, since that'd been the only thing he would hear from nearly everyone.

Dian looked Kane in the eyes. He shoved his own hair out of his face again. "You know... There is something special about you..." he said softly.

Brookie smiled. '' Tigers are too, every living thing has a special trait. '' said Brookie as she watched the butterfly spread its wings and fly away.
