He let him go to surface, shakin' water out of his eyes as he stood. The water barely reached his chest, sunlight glintin' against the white marks of faded scars on his skin.

Dian got above water too, shaking his hair out of his eyes. He looked at Kane, seeing some of the scars. "You've had quite a rough life... What did you do before you came here?" he asked. "No need to tell if you don't want to..."

Brookie saw a butterfly. It landed on her finger. She smiled.

He ran a hand through his hair to push several strands out of his eyes. "I was a well-known street fighter where I lived. Although most of these come from the cigarettes and whips used by my father, or leather belts." He was quiet as he spoke, his gaze focused on the water.

Dian sighed, looking at kane, a little shocked. "Your father did that?" he asked softly.He gently place a hand on Kane's shoulder. "I'm so sorry to hear that..." He shook his head. "I just can't think of anything to say... I've Always considered Muldoom as my father... So in a way we both have crazy fathers..."

Varias walked over to Brookie, looking at the butterfly. "Looks like you have a new friend."
