After some consideration, I decided to reopen the species of Feligallai and vastly improve and revamp the species information, traits and layouts. So I welcome you to the new and improved version of the thread.
The species originally started after I won the lineart in an auction several months ago and died due to mismanagement not very long after. It is now back with this shiny new thread, but if you adopted a Feligallus from the previous thread then you will still be counted as an owner. Artists may or may not be hired at a slightly later date, but until that day [if it happens] then I hope you will enjoy the designs that are currently on offer.
Thank you for visiting,
~Thorry

The Feligallus, or Feligallai if plural context, are a solitary and unfriendly race of creatures that can be found in the more remote corners of the world. They are most commonly found in swamps or jungles and tend to live either alone or with a mate, but never in packs. The solitary nature of these creatures means that they are generally hostile and unapproachable to strangers, but a few very rare cases have cropped up where a human has bonded with a Feligallus. Unfortunately the increased popularity of this species among humans has meant that many of them have been forcibly removed from their natural wild habitats and are being sold on the black marker for sometimes up to ten million dollars for an individual one.
Feligallai are omnivorous, although some of them have been known to refuse meat. Although it is unsure if this is a genetic trait or an individual aversion at the current time.
The average female Feligallus is roughly a length of two meters with the tail making up two thirds of this length, although some sightings claim they have been known to grow up to four. The average male Feligallus is roughly three meters in length, although the record holding male is just over six. Weight of Feligallai tends to be extremely varied depending on the individual and an average has not ever been entirely accurate for what is healthy among the species. What seems to be the norm among the species though is anywhere between 100-180 pounds.
The tail of a Felgallus is long and fluffy and used for balance among the species making them agile climbers. Unlike the majority of feline related species, the Feligallai have extremely long ears although it is unknown as to why. The large amount of muscles within the ears enables the species to lift and move them with vast flexibility and on some occasions the Feligallai have been seen using them to aid with balance.

On occasion, scientists will offer a project of creating one of these creatures to custom by engineering what sort of genes and personality the animal has.
These customs cost any two wishlist items or any one wishlist pet. Either is acceptable. Please send a trade over with your payment after posting a form. I will not accept it until I have completed your custom.
customs are currently open
